Works - Sometimes - Clumsy and Unreliable
Shutter is a poor application. That it works occasionally, it deserves more than 1 star (garbage). Sometimes, I can connect in as few as 20 seconds, other times (no rhyme or reason) it can take 10 minutes or more to connect after fiddling around with a variety of ‘settings’. There is no reason why a ‘mature’ application that has undergone multiple updates should not connect instantly (less than 0.5 seconds). I can understand an initial setup, however once setup, simply turning on my Sony camera and Shutter should cause Shutter to activate instantly. This application cannot be relied upon in any case where there is the need to connect and take a picture quickly. When photographing today’s eclipse, I gave up and used a 2-seconds time delay to capture photos. Photographing wildlife, forget it. Shutter is not nearly up for the task.

The app works fine with Sony A7R5 and A7RC. Support from developer is quick and accurate, just in case.

Veramente? Ho pagato già un sacco di soldi per la vostra fotocamera e devo pagare anche per l’applicazione (solo perché, probabilmente a questo punto avete fatto di proposito) wi-fi e bluetooth non si connettono?! Ma voi state fuori, vado avanti con le memorie esterne.
Glitchy
Subscription based to start. Slow and difficult to connect also won’t stay connected if review a photo on the camera. Not happy with this app at all.

Really helpful
Working with this app is fun. The usual painful part of connecting the camera with the app is solved in a very smooth way. All necessary functions are implemented and easy to use. It‘s worth it!

Приложение хорошо изменилось за год, убрали звук по дефолту, добавили удобный сброс тач фокуса, а главное приложение отлично работает в режиме ожидания, ни одно другое из конкурентов так работает, они просто отваливаются, а это моментально восстанавливает лайв вью.

Great App
Although I don’t use the app often when I do need a remote camera shutter control this app is absolutely awesome. I appreciate the personalized support I have received by the developer in resolving some minor issues but everything works just fine and I’m totally pleased with the app. It works on both of my Sony cameras perfectly. Thank you for the fine support and the excellent application you have developed. Keep up the amazing job you have performed, it is appreciated.

Manque de fonction
Super app, mais manque de fonctionnalité en vidéo : sélection du lut interne depuis l’app, dessqueeze anamorphique (vertical et horizontal). Et une interface pas top : on veut accéder rapidement au fausse couleur, au peaking et au zébra, pouvoir naviguer dans les fichiers. Inspirez vous de l’app monitor+ qui font beaucoup mieux en vidéo

Merci d’avoir essayé Shutter+ et pour votre retour. Il est vrai que l’application a d’abord été conçue principalement comme un outil photographique, et certaines fonctionnalités vidéo ne sont pas encore aussi accessibles qu’elles devraient l’être. Nous travaillons actuellement sur une nouvelle interface d’enregistrement vidéo qui mettra davantage ces options en avant et les rendra plus faciles d’accès.

This works a lot better than any other camera app I’ve tried, connects to my Sony A7lll easy and instructions are very clear, everything I’ve tried so far just works, not like Sony Memories that didn’t work that well,, only down side is the price.

I’ve used Sony cameras since 2014. I’ve always found it challenging and have given up on using their apps.
Shutter is easy to use and solved my problems with remote and transfers. I recommend it. The price is right, give it a try.
