Canon EOS R

Worked straight away, tried other methods for the EOS R and nothing else worked.

연결안됨

캐논알육 쓰고있고 와이파이는 연결 안돼고 usb는 시리얼 번호만 나와요

캐논 r100 잘 됩니다

Usb, wifi 둘 다 해봤는데 둘 다 잘 됨

False advertising

The photos of the app supplied by the developer show exact shutter count of his Canon 5D Mark IV. ShutterCount Mobile only provides shutter count in increments of 1000 with my Canon 90D. Shutter wear percentage is useful, but a ballpark shutter count is not worth $9.99. Hard pass!

Canon EOS R

Struggled to get the shutter count to sell my Canon EOS R however this app was really easy to use, gave me the instructions as I went and worked first time. When you are selling or buying a high value item
I think it was worth the price for peace of mind.

FAQ

What does ShutterCount Mobile do?

ShutterCount Mobile reads the number of shutter actuations (shutter count) for compatible Canon, Nikon, and Pentax digital cameras. This allows users to check how heavily a camera has been used, verify the condition of pre-owned equipment, and potentially avoid costly trips to a service center for this information.

How does ShutterCount read the shutter count?

For Canon cameras, it reads the shutter count directly via USB or Wi-Fi connection. For Nikon and Pentax cameras, it reads the shutter count from image files that have been taken by the camera. Compatibility varies by model, and a list is provided in the app's description.

Is ShutterCount Mobile free to use?

The base features of ShutterCount Mobile are available for free, including unlimited readings, a counter for still photos, and history logging. Optional features like Live View counters, graphing, and advanced Canon camera management are available through in-app purchases (Live View Pack and Plus Pack).

What cameras are compatible with ShutterCount?

The app supports a wide range of Canon EOS, Nikon, and Pentax digital cameras. Compatibility is detailed in the app description, with specific lists for USB, Wi-Fi, and image file reading methods. For the most detailed and up-to-date compatibility information, users should visit the provided URL.

What are the main benefits of using ShutterCount?

The primary benefits include easily checking the shutter count to assess a camera's usage, verifying if a used camera is as described, and performing this check yourself without needing to send the camera to a service center. The history logging and wear indicator also help in managing camera assets over time.
