Looks Suspicious at First but I Tested It Thoroughly

I almost deleted this app immediately because the screen broadcast warning honestly scared me at first. Seeing “everything on your screen including notifications will be recorded” made me think something sketchy was happening.

After testing it pretty thoroughly though, I realized the app is mainly using Apple’s screen broadcast feature to send a live preview to the mini selfie monitor so you can use the rear camera. I tested it in Airplane Mode with only local Wi-Fi enabled and the device still worked perfectly, which reassured me it’s functioning locally rather than needing constant internet access.

I also checked my Photos app, Screen Recordings folder, and iPhone storage afterward and didn’t find hidden recordings being saved. Storage usage stayed extremely low even after testing videos and photos multiple times.

Once I understood what it was actually doing, the app/device combo worked really well. Being able to use the rear iPhone camera while still seeing yourself on the monitor makes a huge difference in video quality compared to the front camera.

If you’re cautious about privacy and get nervous seeing the broadcast warning like I did, hopefully this review helps explain why the app asks for it.
