Sibyl Sim helps healthcare simulation faculty prepare, run, observe, record, and review learning scenarios across iPhone and iPad. CHOOSE THE ROLE FOR EACH DEVICE Control Hub Use an iPad as the command center for your simulation. Complete a guided Room Check, connect up to three approved cameras, select the Main Camera, direct observer output, play sound cues, record sessions, and mark important moments for debriefing. Room Camera Turn an iPhone or iPad into a dedicated room camera and microphone. Choose from supported rear camera lenses, view readiness and connection status, and keep capture under faculty control. Observer Join the faculty-approved Main Camera feed from another iPhone or iPad for a focused live view. PRIVACY-FIRST CONTROLS Privacy Stop blocks recording, broadcasting, camera streaming, and remote sound delivery until faculty explicitly turns it off. Devices require pairing and session approval before media can cross the room network. LOCAL-FIRST WORKFLOW Sibyl Sim is designed to operate over a private local network without Internet access after installation and provisioning. Session recordings remain in protected local storage on the Control Hub. Faculty can review recordings, add private debrief notes, and choose what to share with learners. SOUND FOR THE SCENARIO Use built-in simulation atmosphere and alarm cues, import reviewed audio, and direct cues to approved room or observer endpoints. Sibyl Sim is intended solely for education and simulation. It is not a clinical monitor or medical device and must not be used for patient care. Institutions are responsible for consent, privacy, retention, security review, and appropriate device management.
