Don’t buy. A complete waste of money. It crashes often.
This game crashes whenever you leave the main screen. I have and enjoy the laptop platform of this game but this one does not work. Save your $3.
Fun game, but…
This is a fun game for a relatively quick engagement, but it quickly gets repetitive. More importantly, today it’s just old and doesn’t work anymore. I can start a game but the OK button doesn’t register (iPad pro, iOS 18.7.2). So don’t bother until it’s fixed.

GUI is mostly frozen
I was looking forward to playing, but the GUI display is partly cut off and mostly frozen. I’ve never left a bad review before but this should be removed from the App Store because it just doesn’t work.

I used to enjoy this game, now it doesn’t work. It will run but very quickly you’ll have to press a button to accept something and it won’t register.

Don’t buy, no longer works
On my M1 iPad running the latest iOS version, this app no longer works. It opens, but when you get to various dialog boxes, the button in there does not work. So the app remains frozen at that point. This happens all over the place, including in settings. The last update was 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy this app anymore. They really should pull it down off the App Store.

Just got a 13 inch iPad Air. Os 17.5.1. The game isn’t working. Clicking on screen ineffective.
Apple should drop “editors choice” and statement that it is compatible with this iPad!

Keeps freezing
I’ve tried getting into a few times, but it freezes up on a random screen each time after 5-10 minutes of playing. Frustrating and looking for a new game now. Avoid!
Menu Buttons after iOS 18
The menu buttons in the campaign don’t work after iOS 18 update.
Beware buying this in 2025.
I dip into Starships every few years and something is broken trying to run this on a new M4 iPad Pro. If you go into settings, the UI becomes unresponsive until you quit the app.

Game is so broken that opening the menu will cause it to lock up. Just trying to play it will lock up. Outdated. Just needs be be updated or removed from app store
Unplayable — buttons unresponsive
The games buttons are unresponsive in the control screens. Not playable despite saying it’s compatible with my iPad.
Great game, constant crashes
I suspect this game hasn’t been updated for a while but if you’re looking at it now, avoid. Constant random hangs on iOS 18 and utterly unplayable. A shame because it is fantastic on the very rare occasion it runs stably.
