About

Siddur Or Zarua is a Traditional-Egalitarian daily and Shabbat siddur, with weekday and Shabbat services, blessings, and the Hebrew calendar, that knows the time and place you are praying in. • Full weekday and Shabbat services, in Hebrew with English translation and transliteration, laid out to read beautifully on a phone or tablet. • Zmanim and candle-lighting times, calculated for your exact location, set automatically from your device or chosen manually from a list of cities or coordinates. Your location never leaves your device. • A living Hebrew calendar: today's date, the weekly parashah with its Torah and Haftarah readings, and the full month view, with support for both the Israel and diaspora schedules. • Yahrzeit tracking: record memorial dates for loved ones, see when they fall each year on the Hebrew calendar, and optionally get a reminder the evening before, and again on the morning itself. • Reminders you choose: yahrzeits, the nightly Omer count, Shabbat and festival candle lighting, and the Shabbat the new month is blessed on. Scheduled on your own device, timed to your own zmanim, and never delivered during Shabbat or a festival. No account needed. • Works fully offline, with no account required, for every prayer, calendar lookup, and zmanim calculation. • An optional free account syncs your yahrzeits and settings across devices. Sign in with just your email address, no password and no third-party login. We collect the minimum needed to make sync and reminders work, never use analytics or advertising, and never sell your data. Our full privacy policy is in the app, under Settings, About.
