This app provided 0 help or support in such a severe situation after reporting concerns and even emailing support. Pictures, personal information, false rumors, etc were spread, violating every single one of Sidechat’s policies yet nothing was taken down until nearly a day later
Community
This app actually makes me feel MORE connected. Most social media is icky and make me feel lonely. But this is where I get my college scoop and feel part of the community. And most ppl are actually super nice in there. Are there a couple of dicks? Of course. But way more good people.

you'll get reported for trying to find a missing friend but people can talk about eating ssa and spew hate speech all day. the communities don't even verify the members
“Time out” feature
The time out feature has got to the dumbest thing i’ve seen anyone make. We’re adults I should be able to warn people that a man is harassing women without being put in “timeout” even though I never mentioned the man’s name. You all need to review and revise your reports when someone does report a post because most likely it’s to spread awareness.

got banned and cant even appeal & see what i said was wrong. contacted support team numerous times and they wont even follow up on the matter. terrible team & app, dont download.

LOTS OF ADS
Ads make this unusable
No images load
It’s so pointless to view people’s posts when no images load. I’m missing out on content. It seems like many users are having this issue and have been for a while. Can you fix it already please??!
Chats Laggy
Overall a good app but sometimes the chats are really laggy. Some more optimization for the loading would be good since the longer a chat FlatList is, the more lag there is. Thank you!
Trash lame app
Highly upset with this social media platform. The fact people can ban you for expressing your opinion is preposterous . Needs some type of verification for post that reported . Sad sad day for Sidechat .
