Hi, and thank you for giving SideHustle a look — We are genuinely sorry to hear about your job, and helping people in exactly your situation is one of the reasons we built this. We also want to clear something up, because we don't want you to miss out: SideHustle does not require a subscription to start earning. Every new provider gets 20 free credits when they sign up, and reaching out to a job poster costs just 1 credit — so you can contact up to 20 neighbors and start earning at no cost whatsoever. A subscription is completely optional and only becomes relevant later, if you've used your free credits, found the app helpful, and want more Gig leads. And to put it in perspective: the optional subscription is under $10/month (giving you access to 50 leads/potential Gigs), while a single gig on SideHustle often pays that back many times over — so it typically pays for itself with your very first job. We would love for you to give it a real try — We think you'll find plenty of ways to earn while you're between jobs. If anything is unclear or you hit a snag, please email us directly and we will help you get set up. Wishing you the very best, and hoping to see you back. — The SideHustle Team

Thanks for the feedback, and we are sorry for the confusion! You actually don't have to pay to find jobs — every new provider gets 20 free credits at signup, and contacting a job poster costs just 1 credit, so you can reach out to 20 jobs at no cost. The credit system only keeps out spam so serious workers get noticed; paying is completely optional and only comes up if you run out and found that it is very easy to make up for that small cost. We'd love for you to give it another try — feel free to email us and I'll help you get set up! — The SideHustle Team
