Major downgrade from web app
Hate how restrictive the app is. I bought the axis board to prevent issues and improve stability and strength, not for treating an acute injury. The web app allowed me to move around through different exercises and see videos of the movements and progressions so I could target specific areas. The new app doesn’t have an option for general improvement and locks you into a specific injury path that isn’t at all helpful for my use case where I have a few different issues that I want to address.

I am loving this app!
The app has a lot of great features. Some things I really like. I can save bookmark individual exercises for later review and practice. The videos and accompanying text are good. Being able to restart any day of a program is a nice feature. Being able to run different programs is very useful as I have multiple ailments. The diagrams for peg placement are clear.
Things I’d like to see or hear. Keep the written descriptions, but convert them to audio and add them to the videos. Allow a program to be deleted without completing it. Don’t use the term standing foot. It’s confusing. Some of us are slow and need explicit terms like the foot you are putting on the board.
I have had no problems with the app crashing and I’ve found the support team to be very responsive. Frequent updates makes me believe they are interested in making things work.

Diagrams are too small
The board setup diagrams are less than one inch on my screen. Is this app meant only for iPad users or something? I have to put on reading glasses and hold the phone right under my nose to even see the setup clearly at all. It’s a real pain since the setup changes for each exercise. Did any of the developers even use this app before releasing it?

Too restrictive
It gets old having to rate my pain levels at rest, with movement, the exercises themself every time. I forgot to complete the day yesterday, and did it this morning when I wanted to do more. I had to rate a bunch of stuff, and now it says the next day is locked because I just finished yesterdays. Why restrict and require so much input. I just want to see the exercise routine. All of this extra stuff makes it annoying. It should be simple much simpler to see the exercises

Helpful workouts
Since moving over to the app, I really appreciate the guided workouts. The most helpful feature is the option to work out your start point, and then use either options A, B or C depending on pain and ability.
Keeps crashing and erasing my progress
I really needed this to work. It’s too hard to keep track of the exercises. But the app keep crashing and erasing all my progress and the program I’m working on.
Not very useful
The app takes you on a sequence for various injuries BUT it locks EVERYTHING that is not in the sequence. It has a flawed assumption- that you receive it at the beginning of an injury.
It needs a new section that shows you a suite of exercises applicable to strengthening or a specific injury. It would be so simple. The UX is just annoying because of this.

Great App which helps Achilles Pain a lot
Love that the new app is available, and videos are easy to follow. I do find the pictures showing the peg positions are to small and difficult to see if 1,2 or 3 peg height are required.
Very easy to use
Easy to use and so much useful information to help me heal my injury!
Great programs focusing on real result
This app is better than having to flip through pages and scan qr code. There are few bugs but I can see developers fixing the quickly.
New update is unusable
In the workouts now, it’ll skip an exercise and there’s no option to go back. Also, not having a zoom option on the board setup is criminal. No ability to zoom in either. Church it up or revert to the last update, boneheads.
Easy set up and use
Didn’t run into any of the problems from previous reviewers, dev may have cleaned up some of the issues
Great companion for the axisboard
Great app, easy and convenient to use
App so bad I can’t use the product
The app literally won’t open up my workout - I love the idea of a progressive program but not when the app just stops loading my program and doesn’t show any videos or how to guides. It almost makes the board completely useless . Really need a better experience and to upgrade their app. It’s very inconsistent and a bad experience that makes me frustrated with the product

Good start
Please add a feedback/bug report section in the app. In some workouts I’ve noticed some inconsistencies between the board configuration image and the video. The one example is under Plantar Fasciitis recovery hard, day one under progressive balance. When referencing the included book, the image in the app is of mobility exercise M4 on page 86, but the video in the app is of mobility exercise M3 on page 84. This took me longer than it needed to figure out because the video didn’t include a side view like the book did. However the view comment is super minor once all the correct videos and images links are made and verified.
Another issue I have is with the way new programs are displayed. The progress bar shows 0 percent until I complete a full day. That would be fine if the program shows up on the Home Screen under “your programs” before completing one full day. Especially if I already completed part of a day. If I leave a workout I have to click start a new program. Luckily the progress is still saved.
Some of the workout descriptions could be a little more clear with body weight distribution throughout the fully range of motion.
From the very brief time I had with the app I like it overall. It has great UX design. Very sleek and modern. I’ve also noticed the amount of updates the team is pushing out which is nice to see. Once those issue are resolved and others I may come across I’ll adjust the rating appropriately.

Sloppy
The videos rarely match the positioning of the pegs of the axis board making the app almost useless
Needs work
Board configurations not accurate to exercises. Example- progressive balance using the dorsiflexion drill doesn’t work. Loss of trust that the others are going to be accurate.
Missing some basic features
I agree with Wilbur’s review. Also, why can’t I reset a program or view exercises from days I marked complete? I’d like to be able to go back to previous exercises if a program advances more quickly than I am ready for.
Needs Work
The concept is great, but the execution is incredibly mediocre for now. UI is not intuitive, can’t submit feedback on sessions because of a UI bug, some instructional videos are on the wrong exercises. Foundation is there, but it needs some attention.
