Question about love interest selection
Cute
just missing one thing
3.5 stars - not for the busy/impatient
An obvious labor of love game
The review below still applies, but I’ve noticed there is a lack of skip button, which makes the early chapters a little long to replay. I hope one gets implemented somehow, but either way it’s still a great game!
I love this game. Seriously, thank you devs for something so cute and well-written.
To start off, the story is adorable - it’s a slice of life with actual character growth throughout the course of 13 chapters.
The main character is fantastic. She actually seemed competent and had her own goals/friends.
The LIs are varied and each feel like actual people outside of the protagonist (and had convincing dynamics with each other). Geoffrey was my least favorite, and I still wanted him to be happy. They all make you care about them regardless of their route. Each one has something to grow from, and it was super satisfying to see them find their ground.
Finally, it’s all for a low, one time price.
I will be trying any game that these guys put out from now on, and I’ve already bought a pin set off their merch store. Fantastic game that I cannot recommend enough (especially for the price).
Really great!
I love it and want more !
Leo was my favorite I went in this having wanting to pick geff because he has pink hair 😅 but started in and reading four chapters having love for Jamie but then I had to do Leo because I knew there had to be a sweet spot when I was doing Jamie's route Leo is actually a loveable so please don't hesitate to love the lemon prince then Tyler the childhood best friend he is so precious and I know nothing about sports really but in one of the chapters I was so interested in what was going on in tylers game after something happened I was like oh no! But if you guys put out more merch for this is buy it !

Not what I was expecting, but in the best way
The art is clean, attractive, and professional, if not in a style that I usually prefer. The writing is good with good editing. The menus and GUI are good, even if I'm missing a couple of the options you find in PC games (namely, the option to skip through seen dialogue). You have the option to play as a "boy" or "girl," but it would be cool if that language was changed to he/him, she/her, and then really make me happy by adding a they/them option.
The premise/story is really cute, and I enjoyed it more than I expected. Even if it didn't have a romance option, I would still enjoy playing the culinary school story. I really like how the story and character interactions are really the focus. You have the chance to befriend everyone even if you don't want to romance them. It's definitely a "slow burn" type romance. In fact, in the first 7 chapters, I'm not sure there's really a "romance" to speak of with any of the 4 ROs. You're just slowly getting to know each other while studying hard at culinary school and... I really liked that a lot more than I thought I would.
I think each of the ROs are interesting and have unique and well-developed personalities. I like all of them! Perhaps the best character in the game is the adorable, pumpkin-loving Robin--the MCs roommate. I always like it when romance visual novels have friend characters. It's weird when MCs only interact with the ROs, so I'm glad you don't have to worry about that in this game so much. With that said, there could be more Robin! (like include them in the texts and social media posts) I'm looking forward to seeing them more in future updates.
Anyway, I really enjoyed playing the first 7 chapters of this game (I've already played through a few times to get all the CGs). I feel like it's definitely worth the $5 if you're a fan of otome visual novels and/or cooking stories.
