Great sight reading app!

This is a great app for beginner singers or people like me who haven’t read music in years and want to relearn. I appreciate the instant feedback from the virtual coach (which is always spot on with recommendations) and the many options to tailor lessons based on your preferences. I also love the daily trainings. It does heavily feature solfège. If you aren’t familiar with that, the app has some basic training. But it’s also not necessary to sight sing with solfège syllables in the app. The free version is probably enough for most beginners. I did purchase the upgraded version because I wanted more complex scores.

Excellent app!

I have been using this app daily for around three months. It is an excellent tool to study sight singing seriously and I anticipate continuing for many months ahead. The app has multiple ways to learn, is progressive and highly customizable, gives rigorous attention to intonation and rhythm. Some may find the UI simple or even plain. I would say Satoru spends his time (and computer processing budget) on sophisticated and useful features instead of fancy graphics. Well worth the subscription price!

Good but could use better UI

This is a nice app for daily vocal practice. I really appreciate the recording features where I can hear back my voice in real time. I don’t quite understand the “8va” and “15va” options when it comes to shifting the octaves. I think it would be nice if it could auto detect when singing in a different octave or just have an easier way to adjust it.

Exactly what I needed

I have been having the hardest time sight singing and I couldn’t find any effective ways to practice. I discovered this app from their YouTube channel and downloaded it immediately after doing a few video exercises. The instant feedback is such a good feature so then I actually know if I’m doing it in pitch! I’ve only done a few exercises so far but I think this app will be perfect for me if the difficulty steadily increases as a practice in the app.

A bit expensive, but I love it!

I think this app is great! It would be easier if we had the option to practice the sight singing examples with an on-screen piano keyboard.

forcing me to pay for full access again and again

I paid for the full app around 2018, specifically sight singing pro. When I updated the app I paid for, it told me to buy the fuller version which was a different app and then downgraded the app I paid for! Next, they make it unavailable to the country, forcing me to use another app but this time subscription based or a one-time payment that’s like 4x more than the first time I paid for full access! It would’ve been a good app if developers didn’t take it away from users who already payed. Very unethical in my opinion.

Structured practice

I’ve been in choir and a cappella groups but I’m not a strong sight singer. This app gives me structure to learn solfège and practice sight singing. It’s easy to use and helping me be a better singer!
