I love the reading doctor apps

I would highly recommend the reading doctor apps as a parent and a speech pathologist with a keen inter at in helping literacy in kids. This sight words app keep crashing. This happens every time we use it.

Fantastic app!!!

If you haven't got this app ... you need to get it!!!
This app is a great find. I am using it with literacy intervention kids and also mainstream. It is self monitoring and self correcting!!!
It has a facility to make custom list to work on for individual children or particular reading materials.
there are 200 S.V. words in this app, if it was extended t 400 " most used" words it would be perfect!!
Have had some success with spelling using this app. After students have used a "group" of custom words 5/6 times, and are using them in reading tasks; I have used them in dictation and the kids have been able to spell them as well - a happy surprise..........

Reading doctor sight words

I am really disappointed as there are faults with this all. In the 4 letter words one word doesn't even load! Sometimes the program doesn't load. I have the whole bundle and love the sound packages and I use it all the time with the children I teach. Please fix and I have recommended the program to parents.

Excellent Teaching Value

Reading Doctor apps like this one have excellent teaching value. The error correction process is helpful. The clear graphics and simple instructions made the app very student friendly for children of various ability levels. Light to Learning

Love it!

Another brilliant app! Complements the other related apps... Letter Sounds1and2, and Word Builder. My students love it. It has built that fluency/automaticity in their letter sounds and sight words. Well done and thank you.
