My granddaughter loved the first 4 games. I downloaded it because almost every game we try has in tiny words below it, in app purchase. I downloaded this because it didn’t say that, only to find out after playing 4 games, payment is required. SMH. We all would love for our children/grandchildren to learn more but we all can’t afford these games. Excellent and fun but just disappointed due to dishonest advertising

Kids loved it
My 4 year old learned her letter sounds very quickly and really enjoyed the games! The only problem I had was that my 3 year old was able to just tap on anything until the right answer was found and she didn’t learn anything from that. Not much that can be changed there because it is a game but she just didn’t seem to grasp a lot of what each game was trying to teach her.
My only other issue is that I didn’t quite see the transition from letter sounds to actually learning to read words. I felt like there was a big jump from sounds to reading and not any explaining and taking small steps towards that.

This app is connected to a yearly purchase. However it is well worth the price. It has different sections that focus on different skills. My favorite is Phonics Farm as it starts at letter sounds and works up to spelling and site words. It uses traditional phonics to make reading words easier.
Some of the other sections are super easy and some more advanced.
I have realized that even if they are guessing at the right word they are still learning in this game because it says the sound or word repeatedly which gives word recognition by shape.
This worked really well with my daughter that has ADHD. I hope this helps you on your journey. ♥️
