What's New in SightTune Music

2.7

October 28, 2026

SightTune 2.7: - Read & Play: SightTune listens while you read and play, then shows the key, tempo, loudness, phrases and sections of your session - Pitch and tuning: see how in tune you played, note by note. - Digital pianos: connect a piano or keyboard by USB or Bluetooth MIDI to add exactly what you played to Read & Play. - Health in Read & Play (optional): with your permission, see your heart rate, sleep and mood next to your practice. This information stays on your device. - Practice Journal: every practice summary is kept. Save the ones you like, combine several into one new summary, and open your Journal from the Library, now on iPhone too. - Practice summaries now include what Read & Play heard. - Read a score straight from the Library, and jump from reading to the score's page with the new Score button. - SightTune Unlock and SightTune Plus are available to buy in the app. Unlock is a one-time purchase. Plus gives you practice summaries for every session, monthly or yearly. - Practice reminders: a gentle nudge when you haven't practised for a while. Choose which reminders you get in Settings > Notifications. - Report a practice summary that doesn't look right, straight from the summary. Shared summaries say they were written automatically. - Faster page turns the first time you read, and better performance on older iPads. - Digital pianos: connect a digital piano or keyboard by USB or Bluetooth MIDI and turn on Read & Play - Health in Read & Play (optional): with your permission, see your heart rate, sleep and mood next to your practice. Your Health data stays on your device and is never sent. - Page-turn pedals: pair a Bluetooth pedal whenever you like as a backup to hands-free turning, then go straight back to hands-free. Turn it on in Settings > Page-turn pedal.

Game Changer!!!

As a professional pianist, the transition to digital scores has always come with a degree of "pedal anxiety." Sight Tune has completely shifted that dynamic for me. It provides a level of security that Bluetooth pedals simply can’t match; I no longer have to choreograph my hand movements or worry about a mechanical fail mid-performance. Having the software follow my eyes allows me to remain fully immersed in the music.

From a pedagogical standpoint, it’s a game-changer. Being able to see exactly how much my students have practiced—and more importantly, where their eyes linger—allows for a level of diagnostic teaching that wasn't possible before. It’s an incredible tool for both the stage and the studio.

Magic!

SightTune is exactly what I needed. I play music using my iPad and hate having to reach over to turn pages mid-song. This app turn pages with just a natural glance — no pedals, no winks, no extra hardware.

It works completely offline, feels instant once calibrated, and keeps everything private. The annotations are super helpful too.
If you read sheet music and want to stay in the flow, try it. Game changer.

Highly recommend!
