Signal is a curated archive of the discoveries that changed what we know about the universe - told through the observatories that made them. Ten channels. Ten telescopes. Each one represented by a television set from the era it was built. The 1963 Arecibo dish sits in a walnut-cabinet set from the same year it was carved into a Puerto Rican sinkhole. The 1990 Hubble telescope sits in a widescreen CRT from the same year it launched - flawed mirror and all. The ELT, still under construction on a mountaintop in Chile, sits in a brushed aluminum panel that doesn't quite exist yet.
