Need to pay for the membership
This app is not the same as when you look up signing savvy. On the website it lets you look up a word and it will show you a video on how to sign the word. This app gives you a sign of the day and that’s it unless you pay for the membership. Skip the download and just go to your web browser.

Great resource but terrible UI
This app has been so helpful as I’m taking ASL but it’s hard to ignore the layout of the app that makes it so hard to use. For example, When doing the flashcards and I want to hit the next arrow to go to the next card or reveal the answer, both arrows are so small and right next to each other that I end up hitting the back arrow constantly causing me restart my flashcards every time. This is one thing of many, but it is very infuriating. Though I’m not sure if this app is still updated.

Excellent app and website
This is a great ASL site, especially when you're looking for a sign. Often a word will have several different signs depending on what part of the country you live in, and Signing Savvy will show many or all of those signs. It's user-friendly. Much of it is free to use, but I find it to be worth paying for.

Buggy and Useless
I paid for a 3-year subscription to Signing Savvy just so I could use this app on my phone and iPad. It is slow (takes forever to log me in each time I open it) and the search function freezes all the time! I get half a word typed, it brings up a list of “results” (which is just a fingerspelling of the partial word I got to type), and then will not bring up th actual entry when I’ve finished typing the word. I then have to close and reopen the app, wait for it to log me in again…and every third or fourth time (if I’m lucky), it actually works. What a waste! I want my money back.
