What's New in SigScan

1.5.1

October 20, 2026

What's New in SigScan 1.5.1 Radar: every nearby Bluetooth device around you by distance, on a compass that turns with your iPhone. Label it N E S W, in degrees, or both. Trackers stand out in red. Find directions: hold your phone out and turn once. SigScan works out which way each device is from how its signal rises and falls as you turn, and shows how sure it is. Locate a device in AR to pin its direction precisely. Hold a device on the radar or in the list to see its name, its distance and which way to turn. Devices with no known direction sit on their own line by distance, so nothing points somewhere it was never measured. Zoom with a pinch, double-tap to zoom in, or tap with two fingers to zoom out, from 1 ft to 160 ft. Feet or metres follow your region. 3D view: tilt the radar like Maps. Calibrate distance: measure a device once at 1 m and its distance comes from its real signal from then on. More accurate distances, especially for watches and other wearables. Steadier signal: readings are smoothed, so bars, dots and distances no longer jump but still follow real movement. The radar stays in view while you scroll the device list. Simpler navigation: Radar, AR, Intelligence and Log in the tab bar, with everything else under More. Wi-Fi and cellular details share one Connection screen. Better with large text sizes, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion. Ask AI no longer sends your location with your question. Also new since 1.3: Home screen widget: how many devices are nearby, how many are flagged, and what kinds they are, from your last scan. Share any device through Messages, AirDrop or Mail. Customize your tabs and choose Light, Dark or System appearance. Better device categories: speakers, TVs, cameras and appliances are recognised. Runs on Apple silicon Macs.
