Sijil IT is a mobile client for Odoo, the open-source ERP used by businesses, teams and individuals worldwide. Point it at any Odoo server — your own, your employer's, or a free one you create yourself — and it turns that server into a full IT asset management app in your pocket. There is no account to create with us, no sign-up, no fee and no server of ours in the middle. Sijil IT talks to Odoo directly over its standard XML-RPC API using the stock Maintenance, Employees and Inventory apps. Nothing has to be installed on the Odoo side — no addon, no plugin, no middleware. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Browse and search every IT asset, with photos, categories, serial numbers and warranty dates • Scan a QR code or barcode to open an asset instantly • See who is holding an asset and its full assignment history • Hand an asset over to someone, or take it back, with a photo of its condition and a signature on handover • Open a maintenance request, follow its stages, and read the service history • Run a physical audit: walk the floor, scan what is there, and get found / missing / out-of-scope in one list • Track overdue returns and expiring warranties from the dashboard • Browse the people directory and see everything assigned to each person • Export any list as PDF or CSV BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Works offline — cached data stays readable, and changes queue in an outbox that syncs when you are back online • English and Arabic, with full right-to-left layout • Light and dark themes, phone and tablet layouts • Voice search — say the asset name instead of typing it SECURITY • Credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain, never in plain files • The local cache is encrypted with a per-install key • HTTPS only; certificate validation is never disabled • Odoo's own access rights are always respected — the app never works around a permission error, it explains it GETTING STARTED No Odoo server yet? Anyone can create a free Odoo database at odoo.com in a few minutes, or install the free open-source Odoo Community edition on their own machine. Neither needs an invitation or an approval. Then paste the server address into Sijil IT and tap "Detect databases" — the app asks your server which databases it hosts and fills the name in for you, so nobody has to remember it or type it wrong. "Test connection" tells you, before you sign in, whether the server answers and which Odoo apps it has installed, so you know which features will be available. Sign in with your Odoo password or, better, an API key. REQUIREMENTS Any Odoo 17, 18 or 19 server reachable over HTTPS, with the Maintenance app installed, and an account on that server.
