Core features: - Search Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (Sikh scripture) by text or voice - "Sing Along" mode that uses the microphone + on-device/Web speech recognition to follow along line-by-line as the user recites Gurbani - Daily Hukamnama (the day's reading from Sri Harmandir Sahib) with English, Hindi, and Punjabi translations - Illustrated Sikh history comics for children - Punjabi (Gurmukhi) learning games for kids SIGN-IN No login or account is required to use any core feature. Reviewers can launch the app and access everything immediately. There are no paid features, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. MICROPHONE USAGE The microphone is used ONLY for the optional "Sing Along" voice-matching feature and for voice search. Audio is processed for speech-to-text and is not stored, uploaded, or used for tracking or advertising. The purpose strings in Info.plist (NSMicrophoneUsageDescription, NSSpeechRecognitionUsageDescription) describe this to the user, and the OS permission prompt appears the first time the user taps a voice feature. BACKGROUND AUDIO UIBackgroundModes = audio is declared so the Live Kirtan stream from Sri Harmandir Sahib continues playing when the screen is locked, matching standard music/radio app behavior. CONTENT All scripture text, translations, and Hukamnama content are sourced from publicly available Sikh databases (BaniDB, SikhNet).
