What's New in Silent Beat

40.2

July 21, 2026

This update includes some fairly significant changes. - In addition to 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 time signatures, the app now supports 6/8, 5/4, and 7/8 time signatures. - We received feedback from many users that the tempo would sometimes drift. The cause was a delay related to the Apple Watch’s operational status, but we’ve revised the processing to be less susceptible to such fluctuations. - We received feedback that the UI was confusing, particularly regarding how to set the BPM, so we’ve updated the screen display to indicate that the BPM can be adjusted using the Digital Crown. - We’ve also implemented various minor bug fixes.

Worked for 2 Seconds

I’m looking for a metronome app that works on my iPhone and my Apple Watch. I downloaded this and was hopeful. However you have to subscribe if you want to use it for longer than 2 seconds on Watch. So not long enough to even see if it works. Silly!

Response from developer

Thank you for your comment. As you intuitively understood, this is indeed a good product. You mentioned that two seconds is too short, but that is something you were aware of even before using the product. The length is not really the issue. If you are dissatisfied, you can simply return it. That is a reasonable and fair solution. It is not something that warrants being called silly. Nevertheless, I appreciate your comment.

need odd meter feature

in the description, it says that you can choose between two and 12 beat per minute. I find no way to change. I need an odd meter metronome.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for disappointing you. The odd meter has been temporarily disabled due to an issue: there are so many patterns that the screen becomes overly complex, which severely degrades usability on the Apple Watch’s small display. If you remain unsatisfied and have already purchased the in-app item, please request a refund through the App Store — Apple will refund purchases that meet their policy. (Information about refunds and the procedure is available on your country’s Apple website.) As for the odd meter, I am considering whether allowing users to choose a limited set of representative patterns as fixed options would be sufficient. Does the beat you use include any patterns?
