Loved it
As a long time Silent hill fan, playing from the beginning, I really enjoyed this. The story was engaging and I loved the characters. It definitely had the SH vibes and intrigued me. I’m not sure why a few people have given one star reviews, I feel like they were expecting too much for a mobile app. I also love that I can rewatch this on my phone.

Mostly writing this because of the 5 star review
There’s a 5 star review here saying how refreshing it is that there is finally a new Silent Hill game, immediately followed by them saying “I’m not that into Silent Hill games”. I feel this perfectly sums up who this game here is for.
Amazing graphics
This game has a really good storyline and really good graphics, I highly recommend this game for horror game lovers!

I played on launch. For a few months. Or should I say played along. Hoping and praying this would spiral into something amazing but was ultimately let down by a very underwhelming amount of bad animation, voice acting, bad decisions, and quite frankly a huge let down with the fact that this went nowhere for so long. This is NOT silent hill. This isn’t even part of the universe. I would never consider this to be part of silent hill and everyone who asks about it I tell them it’s a waste of time and a huge disappointment. You spent all this time and effort to make something nobody wanted or asked for. The community wants another GAME. ANOTHER MOVIE or TV SHOW. We don’t want some weird decision based strangely animated app. Please take this off the App Store and if you ever try again don’t do this. Don’t do this ever. It wasn’t “different” it wasn’t “quirky and cool” it was bad. Pure bad taste mixed with maybe a few too many mixed drinks lead to this abomination being created.

Remember when we were all excited for this at one point and then it turned out to be an awful story with some of the worst voice actors ever. Good times. Thank god for the SH2 remake, we won’t mention this entry when SH is talked about ever.

If this didn’t have the IP attached to it we wouldn’t be having this conversation. To simply call this a bad Silent Hill is a gross understatement. The story is laughably bad, and the characters motives make no sense. The vibe is way off for Silent Hill. Think budget Until Dawn but written by AI and Tommy Wiseau. Scrub this from existence.

Huge letdown
A way better idea would’ve been to make it live action but give ability to choose the fate like in Final Destination. Tbh you guys had super high expectations that where a bit unrealistic to achieve. Looking forward to the sh video games but would’ve probably been better just making more movies or a tv show.
