About

Silim is an RSS reader with a real web browser built in, and blocking that works in both. THE READER Suggestions are there from the first launch, in your own language. Subscribe to any site that publishes a feed, or to one that does not: Silim can build a feed from the page itself. Folders, saved articles, unread counts, and a list that remembers what you have already seen. THE BROWSER Not a viewer and not a Safari extension. A real browser: an address bar, a search engine, tabs, bookmarks, history and a private mode, and it opens any site on the web. It also shows you every cookie a site has set, one by one, which lasts and which does not, and lets you throw them away. BUILT FOR A THUMB The address bar is the control panel. Flick it up to see every page you have open. Flick it down to go back to the start screen. Drag sideways along it to move from one open page to the next. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen for the menu, in from the left edge for the reader. Nothing is buried in a corner you have to stretch for. BLOCKING Filter-list blocking is built in rather than added on. Requests on the filter lists are refused and the elements those lists name are hidden. Nothing is ever taken off a page: no audio, no video, no download. MEDIA PAGES A handful of media sites have a shape worth knowing about, so Silim lays their pages out as a comfortable list and plays a video in a layer of its own, with picture in picture, playback speed and a quality ceiling you set for Wi-Fi and for mobile data separately. YOUR OWN FIGURES Time on screen, articles read, pages opened, and every megabyte split by connection so you can see what mobile data actually went on. A level that moves with what you do. KEPT IN YOUR OWN iCLOUD, IF YOU ASK FOR IT The backup is off until you turn it on, and it goes to your own private iCloud database, which means your account and nobody else's servers. Silim has no account, no server and no analytics. Nothing you do here is sent anywhere. WHAT SILIM COSTS Everything is unlocked for fourteen days, with no account and no card. After that, Silim Pro keeps all of it, monthly, yearly, or once and for all. There is no advertising anywhere in the app, and nothing is ever sold about you, because nothing is ever collected. Silim Pro Monthly ($2.99) is an auto-renewing subscription billed every month. Silim Pro Yearly ($17.99) is an auto-renewing subscription billed every year. Silim Pro Lifetime ($24.99) is a single payment and does not renew. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled at any time in your Apple Account settings. Privacy Policy: https://silim-rules.vercel.app/privacy Terms of Use: https://silim-rules.vercel.app/terms
