Awesome app with an awesome instructor
Really a great jiu-jitsu app for all levels. I’m a blackbelt instructor and use this app all the time to add to my game. Silver Fox truly is world class and would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their game.
Silver Fox Global Academy App
After so much content from Silver Fox on YouTube with his roll with the fox episodes, it was a no brainer to sign up for the app. for even more in depth content. It’s easy to navigate and for the price I immediately signed up and it does not disappoint. The app allows you to create your own profile and drill down to your specific game and find the applicable content. It certainly allows me to study and learn visually when I can’t be on the mat.

Nice app, but no trial
App seems nice, very smooth and good format. Customizable for what videos you want to see that are applicable to “your game”. Only problem is there are no free videos and no trial period. Your only option is to immediately sign up to pay $12+ dollars a month. I’d like the option to at least watch a few videos to get a feel for his instruction and style before I start paying.

Best learning supplement, free live tutoring??!!
As a hobbyist practitioner, trying to balance a career, two kids, and a body that only ever ages in the wrong direction, the hard part for me these days isn’t in finding BJJ resources online, it’s in sifting through them all to find the ones that actually impact my game. There are so many 10 second Instagram clips and rapid edit YouTube shorts that it’s almost impossible to tell what is actual, legit technique and what is just highlight bait.
I like the Silver Fox BJJ app because it’s curated and structured. Everything’s organized and tagged by position, submission, finish, etc. so you can search for any problem or issue you have in your own game and find a technical solution for it (there’s a lot of rolling footage too so you can see how things play out in a real-time setting).
There’s also a big, hidden value in the app that I don’t see mentioned anywhere else. So, every Friday, Silver Fox actually hosts a live video stream where he takes Q&A from app audience members. It’s basically a free video seminar with the Fox where he will troubleshoot your individual game for you. Even if he had a previously planned curriculum, Fox always takes live questions as priority over anything else. Never heard of any other world class black belt doing free live tutoring before but that’s basically what it is for anybody who jumps on and asks.
