About

Silver Halide develops your photos through real film emulsions — the same seventeen-stage pipeline as the desktop app, running on your phone's GPU. Shoot straight through a stock with the live viewfinder, or import frames you already have. Either way the grade happens on the device: no upload, no queue, no round trip to a server. TWENTY-THREE STOCKS Colour negative, slide, black and white and print stocks, each with its own colour response, grain structure and halation. A REAL EDITOR Exposure, brightness, highlights, shadows, whites and blacks. Colour, saturation and vibrance. Grain by texture and opacity. Halation, bloom and diffusion. A tone curve when you want one. ROLLS, NOT A CAMERA ROLL Frames live in rolls you name. Edits copy from one frame to the next, and the whole roll exports at full resolution back to Photos. EVERYTHING IS UNLOCKED No account. No subscription. No stock behind a paywall. Nothing in the app asks you for money, and nothing leaves your phone.
