Locked out
I was locked out of the site because I mentioned the gay bowling league I belong. I was told I was trying to take members away from Silverdaddies even though I told them that gay bowling was not an online thing, it is in the real world. Rather than letting me remove the offensive part of my profile, I was locked out so I could not correct it. Seems rather harsh for trying to get my fellow seniors out for socializing.

Chat rooms
I’ve used this site as a paid member and have enjoyed it for years. All of a sudden the chat rooms won’t load on my IPhone. Time to move on to another site.
Horrible, Outdated and Boring
This app is so outdated, so many glitches, it is not user friendly (I’m in my 30s and I don’t have technological challenges). Felt like an AOL chat room from the 1990s. Unorganized and a bit boring. Searching profiles is a pain! No thanks!

Years ago, silver daddies used to be good. Now there are too many old geezers and very few admirers that are young. I think they all went to Daddy Hunt.
The site needs updating
The organization of information about members is good, but it is like a prison. You enter and do not know how to get out. You need to update the site, Mr. Dennis.
Login doesn’t work
It keeps telling me my login information is wrong when it isn’t. So I clicked the “forgot login” option and the email it sends is literally no help in fixing anything. Now I’m just locked out

Largely Useless
I’ve been on SD on and off for 20 years and there’s been no improvements in all that time. No updates to keep it current. (Seems like some of the same profiles I’ve seen since first finding it are still there long after they went dormant.) I was hopeful the app would drive change, but it’s just a reflection of the same crappy website. GIGO, I guess. You’re better off with GROWLr. This is just a relic in app form.

Well, at least there’s an App (unlike for Caffmos) but this is so outdated in how it looks and functions. Can’t delete messages either!

Great site for older men to meet younger men- place to write messages about the man like mail and cell etc likes wishes . Lots of men all over the world - some coming to your area on vacation. I’ve been a member for many years and have met terrific guys for dates for sex. And some have remained friends for years.

There’s no shortage of flakes, but if you pay attention, you can avoid them most of the time
When I’m seriously in the mood I go to a bar what you see is what you get. If the same time there is a mystery element to Silver daddies. It’s fun to send a message and with some luck shortly you are with a stranger who often becomes a fwb with regular sex. A win win proposition

But not as good as the web site. I have use SD for years but just became a member. I do not regret spending a small amount of money for a full year subscription. I love the cam and chat and the way the site let you know when someone is interested in you. Yes it is fo older men. And that’s the point. We all understand what we want. I will renew next year for sure.

Archaic functionality
This app is woefully under designed. It functions as if it has simply been ported from a poorly coded website from the 90’s. The limitations imposed serve no beneficial purpose, and do not encourage regular use of the app. Users are only allowed a couple of messages per day, and messages in the inbox can’t be deleted. I could go on and on but it’s really not worth it.
