Excellent markdown app with solid organization

This app nails the basics and then some. The notebook system keeps everything organized exactly how I need it, and the interface is clean without getting in the way. Local storage options, smart filtering, and the folder structure make it easy to separate work notes from personal stuff. It handles markdown smoothly and the sync works reliably. If you want a no-nonsense no bloat notes app that just works, this is it.

Highly recommend.

Outstanding notetaker

I am always on the lookout for a good, make that a very good, notetaker that works on a MAC, and syncs seamlessly with my iPhone and iPad. I have other requirements also, and highlighting is one of them. Simark has a spectacular highlighting feature that allows you to use markdown == == to surround the text you want highlighted. Or you could use a shortcut - command, shift, M. Or you could select the text and right click with the mouse. This option brings up an option to select one of five colors that you can use.

It also allows you to link your notes internally. And of course, it handles markdown with ease.

The app itself is free, and the paid model includes online service functions. Server maintenance requires costs, which is the only sustainable model for the app. Our app offers a fair and transparent subscription model with clear terms, and the review does not address any actual issues with the app itself.

Excellent for Coding Notes

I was looking for a markdown notebook that had an easy to use interface so I could take coding notes. I stumbled on this app and am so happy I did. Excellent app so far.
