About
Simmerset plans your weeknight dinners and writes the grocery list for them.
Tell it who's eating, what must never be on the plate and how long a weeknight dinner may take. Simmerset suggests three to seven dinners, and you see three of them before you make an account.
The grocery list:
• One list for the week, sorted by aisle
• Amounts add up across dinners: 3 carrots on Monday and 3 on Thursday become one line of 6
• Every line names the dinners that need it, so if you drop a dinner you know what to leave on the shelf
• Shop at any store: there's no store account to create and no store to pick
• This week's plan and list stay readable offline
Simmerset asks about allergies and diets separately from dislikes. An allergy or a diet takes a recipe out of every plan, even when few recipes are left. A dislike only moves a dinner further down the list. A recipe without verified allergen data counts as containing the allergen.
Also in Simmerset:
• Nutrition for every recipe and every dinner: energy, fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates, sugars, fiber, protein and salt, estimated from the ingredients, plus the week's average per dinner
• Import a recipe from a link, or type your own in
• Share the week and the grocery list with another adult in your household
• Export all your data as JSON, and delete your account yourself
