Best wifi
Love Solis! I work remote and when I go out or travel with work and use this WiFi works as if I am working at home and also when traveling. Have used it in Europe and in Mexico and worked perfectly. Never fails. Highly recommend.
Excellent, user-friendly app
My mom and dad spend a few months in a rural part of Italy each year. They access the internet via a Solis Pro and I manage the account through the app. It makes it very easy to ensure that my parents are on an appropriate data plan and I can easily add or upgrade plans. I also like that I can see how many days or GB remain. I can tell how many devices are connected to the hotspot, and the current cellular signal strength and connection type. The number of connections lets me determine if my parents are home or not, which is pretty cool. Excellent app, device, and choice of plan options. Highly recommended.

Logging in issues
Every time I try to log into this app I get “OOPS try again” error. I can’t use the data. It’s lagging and/or say I’m connected but I cannot access the internet nor my account. I’m very disappointed paid for hotspot and services I cannot gain access to.

Good, but…
It’s constantly logging me out as well as disconnecting for no reason. It was amazing a few years ago, but it seems buggy now.

The Solis Lite Just Works
This little Hotspot has been a work horse for me. One of the best purchases I’ve made to keep me connected wherever I go.
Best backup plan for connectivity
I carry my SIMO everywhere I go. It has me online constantly on all my devices. I get coverage with my regular cell phone plan but sometimes it slows down or fails in the middle of important task like a zoom call with a client. I use this app to manage my subscription and devices. I feel secured and connected with my personal hub.

This little device is a lifesaver!
When I travel to a certain country, the Gmail is not allowed. No hotel’s ISP can make connection with Google app. SIMO allows me to connect my Gmail.
Needs som polishing
I have only been using the app for a few hours and while it works it’s lacking some features and that would make it much more user friendly. Adding “sign in with Apple” would significantly improve the sign up process. As it stands the “sign up / in with email” doesn’t play nice with Apple passwords. Apple passwords will not automatically suggest a password, no fill in credentials after sign up. This requires awkward cutting and pasting of credentials. Adding “sign in with Apple”, working correctly with Apple Passwords app, or adding Face ID / Touch ID would be a big improvement. Also accepting Apple Pay for payment would be convenient and provide additional security. It’s 2026 and no one wants their credit card information in yet another database. Adding these few features would make the whole experience more easy and premium feeling.

Not good service. Customer support is terrible. My data gets used up even when I’m not using the internet. It takes forever to find a network, and when it finally connects, the service is painfully slow.

A good product ruined after rebranding
I’ve used this service for over a decade. This use to be a really good product that provided really good service, but it’s really dropped off over the past few years. Constant connections problems, low data caps before throttling, and it’s expensive too. It’s use to be premium service at a premium price; it’s still a premium price but now the service is 3rd rate. I use to recommend this service, but I no longer can and will start shopping around for an alternative for myself.
They’ve also pushed a lot of things through their app now too, like activating your plan. However, you need the internet to log in to the app to activate your plan. If you don’t have internet or cellular access, you can’t login and activate your plan to have access. This also means that if their device isn’t connecting to the internet correctly, you can’t tell it to search for a new signal because you are locked out of the app without being able to login. You can’t even reliably determine the battery level if it won’t connect. All of these are new changes from the device and service I first started using more than 10 years ago.
