Gorgeous MP3 Player Is Almost Perfect Except....
This app has almost everything I wanted to play my music library on my iPhone while driving. The design is elegantly minimal. The information about the artist name, album title, and song title are all displayed with a tasteful and modern san serif font; it's important to me that these three pieces of information about the track are all shown with an easy-to-read large typeface. The colors of the type and the background are pulled from the album cover, therefore the display is gorgeously color-coordinated. The album cover is displayed in a full square, not cropped or partially covered up in a circular window. The simple gestures work well. There's only one thing that I have a significant problem with: the information about the artist, song title, and album title does not scroll. If the text is longer than the width of the screen, the information is simply cut off and ellipses were added. Ben, could you please add the feature of slowly scrolling text?

Doesn’t work, Author doesn’t update
This app doesn’t work with new IOS versions 8 and up. Should look elsewhere for a media player

What happened? Podcast seems to have disappeared- pointless now.
Confusing. Unwanted queue.
I just want an iPod Classic navigation. I don't want a queue. How can I play an album? How do I shuffle an artist?

Works well and I like being able to tap on large screen area to pause or resume when I get a phone call.
Better than iTunes podcast app...
I am fed up with the iTunes podcast app so I tried this one, and not too bad! The navigation is similar to the music navigation on the old iOS a few issues though- it would be better if I could tap on what I wanted to play and it would automatically play instead of having to tap 'done'. Also a tutorial of the controls would help it took a bit to figure out how to get back to the main menu and how to pause and play. Other than that a good app!

This is an attractive, simple-interface media controller, using simple tap and swipe commands. It's great if you have a long podcast or something that you pause and unpause a lot - it will help prevent accidentally skipping ahead or behind since a tap anywhere on the cover art is play/pause. It also makes a good alternative to the default player, with large, clear text and a clean look.

Great app
Very easy to use!

I started looking for an alternative to the built-in Music app when Music stopped playing my podcasts after I upgraded to iOS7. Simple Media Player seems to be exactly what I want: access to ALL my audio files in one simple app. I do like the look and the interface, but for me the most important thing is that I can once again listen to songs, podcasts and audiobooks in one place.

Really Nice And Minimalistic Design
I love this app it's my main music player now mainly because I love minimalistic and simple things, I gave it a 4 star because I think the only thing that could be improved is the selection of music which should ditch the playlist idea and just make it simple like the default music app where one selects an album and it plays it and if possible to give the app it's own way to navigate music otherwise it's amazing!

Playlist
After I make a playlist and have it playing, the list itself vanishes, but still functions.
If I stop my device and restart it, I can't skip or go back in the list that is playing and I can't access it because the list vanished already.

Everything is great:) but it would be great if you added a screen to check your music to change it and not add songs to your playlist. Please fix that! Other than that a great app! Thanks.
