Please add 6/8 time

I know I can just use 3/4 but 6/8 would be perfect. This is going to be a pretty straight-forward app but other time signatures would be great.

No emphasis?

I could be wrong but there’s no emphases on the first beat if your playing with different time sigs

There’s emphasis when using the default sound. It’s not available on the other sounds.

Does not work on Mac Studio M1 Ventura

Would like a refund and would also request that the page not say that it will work on the Mac Studio.
Also, I purchased "Simple Metronome" but the download was for "TempoPerfect", which I used to use with Monterey and loved, but I already knew doesn't work with Ventura. How do I arrange for refund? Thank you.

Nice and Simple

Excellent functionality and non-intrusive. Arrow keys tempo adjustment is great. I wish it could be "pinned" as top level window while using other programs.

There’s no sound in the app

Tried: deleting, changing tones, volume on app all the way up, vol on phone all the way up, restarting phone, etc.

Opened another metronome app; works perfectly.

Stephane, version 1.11.3 fixes an issue where the metronome wouldn’t sound if the phone was on silent mode. I hope this addresses the issue you’ve reported.

Nice Metornome But Privacy Concerns

Metronome works well - no complaints there. However, as someone else reported, the app "phones home" a lot. I've blocked the app's internet access with little snitch, but there really should be a way in the metronome itself to opt out of being tracked. Would give 5 stars but for privacy concerns.

I understand your concerns and will consider implementing an opt-out switch. The metronome will report anonymous analytics data so that I can understand usage and inform development.

Works great

Just what I needed. Could use a little UI improvement; I want to adjust the tempo using the arrow keys (right arrow to increase, left arrow to decrease). As long as there's a history I'd like to be able to edit it (delete items, apply titles); would also be nice if clicking on a history item could instantly set the metronome to that tempo (and perhaps other attributes like volume and sound style)... although at that point it's less history and more a preset manager/library or something....

works fine, but why does it call home?

Seems to work fine, quite simple but I don't really need complexity in a metronome. What concerns me a little is that it regularly tries to access the internet, for some reason (as reported by Lulu firewall). Can't imagine why a metronome would need internet access. I've blocked it at it continues to work ok...

Excellent easy visibility display. Love the way each beat fades gently. Ability to customise sounds and keyboard shortcuts would be stellar.

Sounds can now be changed on version 1.7.0

Does not adjust audio output

I wanted the app to follow the audio output I selected, but it would remain only on the Internal Speaker. Not useful for me.

On version 1.6, 1.7, you need to restart to update the audio output.

Ridiculously inaccurate

This metromome, has a gerat ui, but there is no option to change sound, and it is stuck on one sound. Also, the metronome is waaay off, as I have compared it to a irl metronome and another trusted metronime. Do not get

Works fine!

Just downloaded and tried it out. Works fine on my old Mac tower, OS 10.13, High Sierra.
Options for time signature are 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 7/4, and “None” to get an unaccented click. For 6/8 just use a fast 3/4, although that’s a bit different.
Tempo settings range from 30 to 250 bpm (beats per minute). “Tap” works by clicking on the named button with your mouse, and the app will figure what tempo you are indicating and click at that speed.

Unusable Sound

The app works fine, but it produces a long, irritating tone (long for a click, not a long tone.) No adjustable sounds, can't use this

Only 4/4

No option to have one simple beat tone. Works great if you are in 4, but that's it.
