Lost notes ?

Last night I went into notepad app which I use everyday to access personal info . The app will only let me view the last page of my notes ! I have no options to retrieve anything ?

Fundamentally flawed

No landscape view? This is listed as an iPad app - which is obviously better than a phone for its intended purpose - yet it is stuck sideways.
I recognise the good intent from the developer but cannot understand such an oversight…
