This vpn worked great for about a year and a half and then in the last few weeks has stopped working completely. I’m currently looking for a replacement

This app worked well for over a year and I recommend it to many especially in China, but the last few weeks it has stopped working at all. I emailed customer service for help and no one responded. I’ve started looking for another VPN and even though I paid for an entire year, will have to chalk it up to bad luck.

Terrible Service
They are constantly experiencing issues. They send messages about maintenance and keep changing the configurations all the time. They take your money, provide no service, and won’t respond when you request a refund. Personally, I paid for five months. They changed their system, my ID is no longer available, and my money is gone.

App and Service is dead.
Used to be good I paid for a year. Stopped working for my laptop and phone. Customer support website is down. No help. No connection. Looks like they closed the app, took the money and ran.
In China, hardly works.
Have used for years, only getting worse. Hardly connects, really limited connection speed.

They lost access to servers when migrating data? I paid for 3 months in December and as of 2 weeks ago this app has been dead. It is just saying I don’t have a subscription and it wants more money. Customer service is just ghosting. I would not use this service right now, it was great for the past 4 months, but whatever they did 2 weeks ago has caused major issues.

Bad customer service
I have had this app for over a year now and have a pro plan. It used to be good even though there were some problems with connectivity here and there. But recently it has been terrible and when I try to talk to the customer support they are very rude and not helpful at all.

Unfriendly for Chinese AppStore account
The accounts they provided for downloading and updating the app used to work well, not anymore. I asked for a solution and they just told me to use a non Chinese AppStore account. Wow!!! So where do I get that? Cus if I had one I wouldn’t be asking you like this. The speed has also been terrible recently and I always need to restart the app

Meh…
Living in China makes me a really demanding user of a VPN due to obvious reasons. So I used to be an user, it had good prices and favorable speed, but the connection wasn’t totally good, it didn’t maintained the connection all the time, not every server used to work, and the laptop app didn’t had the support to a “VPN Sharing” option. So it’s not a good option for people that really needs a good, fast and totally reliable VPN service.
(Plus the customer service is atrocious, the people working here, have no manner and professionalism)

It is getting worse and worse. Used to be a good vpn, now it is unusable in China. Really regret purchasing the pro plan.

So simplelink has been great for my Netflix and YouTube streaming,, but I’ve also been using it for basic browsing, and it works perfectly for both. It’s fast and reliable, and the service is affordable in cọmparison. A must-have vpn for China most definitely.
