User reviews

App is great, but…

App works well and does what it says. I really like being able to see the different muscle groups in contrasting colors. I only wish 1) the app had a Landscape rotation feature so I don’t need to hold my iPad in the Portrait position, and 2) supported Split View and Slide Over functions.

Works as advertised

I rate this app highly because it does exactly what it claims to do. This will be helpful to me as a beginner artist to practice drawing. Each “pose” is actually a movement that starts with the figure in a standing position and moves into an elegant dance-like gesture. Then the movement reverts back to standing and the figure repeats the gesture on the opposite side. I find the movements quite beautiful. The user can stop the movement at any point in time for purposes of studying the pose. The user can zoom in or out or pan horizontally and/or vertically around the figure. The user can also change the direction of the light. There is a male figure and a female figure. The user cannot modify the figures in terms of hair style, skin color, build, pose, etc. However, figure appearance can be changed between skin & underwear, generic skin with drawing lines, anatomical muscles, or wooden manikin. The app comes with a number of poses; additional poses can be purchased. If I could change anything about the app, it would be: 1. Add the ability to change the figure appearance to a skeleton. 2. Add poses for ordinary movements like walking.
