Must have, hands down

I’ve been using the app for over a year now and I’m really happy with it! Everything works smoothly, the interface is user-friendly, and the features meet all my expectations. Thank you to the developers for such great work! 1st thing I’d suggest is the ability to merge subscriptions between the desktop and iOS versions, that would be really convenient. Also, I’ve noticed that the app often asks to restore purchases. Other apps don’t require this as frequently.

Thank you for your kind words. Since iOS 18.2, Apple has made some internal changes to the app purchase process. We hope to fix your issue with the next version.

Still no way to disable data collection

The app sends information to the developer with no way to prevent it. Crash data and analytics should never be forced, especially on an app that is supposed to be about total security. I will probably switch to Cryptomator until Simpleum Safe takes end-user privacy more seriously.

Apart from the e-mail address provided voluntarily, there is no data that can be traced back to you and the e-mail address is stored in our newsletter system, which is operated by us and does not pass on any data to third parties. Other data such as crash recording is anonymous. You can also write to us directly at support@simpleum.com. We can then discuss which data you mean.
