Excellent App. I love it and trust
Good app but needs a more polished UI
I like the app, but it’s glitchy. It won’t let me delete anything from inside a safe. I click edit, and it flashes back and forth from the regular menu to the edit menu. Won’t let me select a file and move it to trash.
Over all, it does what I want it to do. If the bugs get fixed, I’ll give it 5 stars definitely.
Update: So I force closed the app multiple times and it didn’t fix the issue I described above, but then I force closed it again and left it sitting for about an hour and now everything works like it’s supposed to. So up to 5 stars, as promised. But the UI could be polished a little more. It’s a tad dated/cheap looking.

Not great
Wish there had been a trial version before I paid for this. The photo "viewer" is the worst I've ever seen. Can't swipe to the next photo? Really? Yeah, I know there's a slide show feature that lets you swipe, but you have to either select all the photos or pick the ones you want to view first. And what if you want to swipe and tag? Nope. Can't find a way to do that. I'd like my money back, please.

Import/export entire Folders. Very few apps are capable of this since we made the mistake of updating to dysfunctional iOS 13.

Additional Encryption for your Files - Caveats
This application adds app-level encryption to your sensitive files. It’s important because the iPhone most data is decrypted in a post first boot authenticated state. So unless your phone is powered off completely, data on your device is vulnerable to logical acquisition attack’s (ie badusb).
What makes this application so useful is how it integrates into other apps. It’s what distinguishes it from simple volume encryption apps. It loads files in-app. I am curious to know what the forensic footprint of these actions might be and whether sensitive forensic artifacts are created outside the vault that might reveal sensitive information when previewing files within the app interface. The only qualm was ETER PGP app on iOS did not work as smoothly as expected in the app. This app is my gold star app has most robust PGP implementation I have ever seen on any platform hope to get the problem addressed.
I have not carefully reviewed the white paper yet and it has not been updated since 2017. I am not a cryptographer but some important things I will need review before deploying this:
- if references the app using a SHA1 cryptographic hash function which if correct would be completely unsafe
- why use CBC as oppose to GCM which is considered more robust
Also, just as important is the white paper gives no clear information on how the application uses elevated data protection class APIs in the app. I would like more information. Data protection classes are an Apple SDK API which provides very strong additional security on files. I want to know how the app implements these features and specifically whether it uses a elevated class (NSFileProtectionComplete).
Reviewing the website, not sure if the company has an actual cryptographer working for them or it’s a bunch of programmers cobbling open source code to design encryption implementation. It’s concerning would like to see independent report carried out by the company assessing application cryptographic implementation. This really should be considered mandatory for an application of this nature.
Moving on, the application would benefit a lot from a improvement in UI interface design. The app is not a nice to look at or use. Interface navigation is awkward, basic manipulations like swiping does not navigate the folder tree as you would expect.
I have not tested robustness of sync feature and how changes on multiple devices are absorbed.
All in all I am very hopeful this application will continue development. More transparency in cryptographic and security implementation. Refine user interface experience. Please consider leveraging power of CryptoKit and the Secure Enclave in iOS 13. The question of forensic artifacts and other crumbs which might reveal sensitive information being left outside the vault when previewing files etc is important.

I agree with other reviewer photo browser experience is sub optimal and awkward. Even with slideshow function it’s still very unnatural. The ability to sort folder view as icons or lists to show longer file names would also be great.

simple and safe 😂👍🏼
As the name tells it, it’s a really simple and safe program. As for myself, I couldn’t find a backdoor or a trick to reveal the data without the password. I had some trouble with syncing first, but the support is amazing, they answer fast, help and work on your issues, you won’t get senseless automatic mails. This is how you get happy as a client :)

Disappointing photo browser
I had high hopes and paid the seven bucks. I didn’t test the encryption but I assume it does that well, but after I added about 70 photos and tried to browse them, I was horrified by the poor user experience that you have to drill in a photo, can’t view it full screen and can’t swipe to the next. So you have to go back out to the album, and drill in to the next. Those are fundamental functions missing. What’s the point? If I can’t view and enjoy the photos, I might as well not have them on the device. PLEASE UPDATE THIS. I’ll keep the app and wait to see if the developers decide to bring this functionality up to snuff.

Read the description for the specs. No one else eliminates the vulnerability of your device’s memory from the equation. Simple, elegant, intuitive; all apps should be this good.
