Please set up the app for syncing across iPad, iPhone, MacBook Pro. Also, who do we change the title of a list or do we have to start over. Would like to send the list to our printer. How can we do it!

Excellent simple app for making list. How can we sync the app across iPhone, iPad and MacBook so a list can be altered or changed on either platform. SYNCING ACROSS DEVICES WOULD BE GREAR!

Simple, but very helpful
I absolutely love this app to create different packing lists for all the members of our family for different types of trips. I have several lists dedicated to items that I need to pack/stock in our motorhome, as well as a list for items to pack for each family member. I also have packing lists for traveling by air and for short, overnight trips. This is a list maker’s, like me, dream come true!

Paste list?
I actually wanted to contact support, butI can’t seem to find it. The reason for purchasing this app was so that I could cut and paste a long list that I have already made (in Notes) and have it sorted alphabetically. When I open a new list there is no option to paste the list I have copied. Is there a way to do this! Thanks.

I agree that syncing across devices would be great. And, please add a copy item…similar to move item and delete item.
Been using for years but...
Love this app! It has served me well for years. However, you need more colors please! The first two colors are indistinguishable from each other. Please please add more colors!
Why???
Can some one tell me why you would remove an option when it works fine the way it is??? I use this app a lot, and I really like it. I use the "lower checked items" option on just about every single list I create. Why would you remove this? It doesn't make any sense - it works perfectly. If someone doesn't want/need it, they don't have to use it. But, WHY take away something that is a very nice feature that works perfectly. I haven't installed the latest update because I do not want this feature removed. Who wants to sort through a list that mixes complete/incomplete items in a hodgepodge fashion? I rarely write reviews, but felt obligated here. Before this latest update, I would give this app 4.5-5 stars. This one deletion alone drops my ranking to 3 stars. For those of us who want an organized appearing list, this is a step backward. And honestly, I think that anyone who would pay for a list making app feels the same way - we want to be efficiently organized. Fix this, and I will update my review to 5 stars.

But, now I have to remove one star. The last ‘upgrade’ had 2 features that I, as a VERY long-term user, find frustrating. The layout was changed to make the font smaller and less bold. It makes it a bit harder to read easily. I’m sure they did it to allow more info on the screen at once, but I find it MUCH LESS easy on the eyes now. Worse yet, as we are all getting older, we should have the option of making the font bigger if we want, not FORCED to have it smaller. Big step back. Should’ve just added an option to change font size if wanted. Maybe I will get used to it... and I’m sure it is fine for New Users, but for people that have been using this for 5+ years, it is - all of a sudden - harder to read. Maybe I can adjust to this, but I saved the worst for last:
In the past, each list would display a number indicating the items that were yet to be finished/checked on the line to the far right of the title. If all items had been finished/checked, there was simply no number. It made it very easy to locate lists that still needed attention, while allowing you to retain lists (Ex. Vacation packing list) that you would use again in the future. Now, if there are no ‘unfinished’ items, a zero appears inside the blue bubble. So now I have a huge table of lists with blue bubbles all the way down the rows, making it nearly impossible to glance and see what still needs attention, especially since the font is a small and thin white number in a relatively bright blue bubble. Why on earth do you keep changing things for the sake of change when it already works perfectly? I have recommended this app to many friends and it is one of the apps I’ve had the longest, please stop changing things. Long-term users really feel these changes...

Security option
Love the app, been using for years - and love the new upgrade. Wish the app had the option to passcode or face recognition protect.

I have found Simplist very helpful and easy to use in the past. I used it for a few years, a few years ago, and purchased the upgrade. I admire your emphasis on simplicity. But I have one feature request that might seem “complicated” for your consideration. I think it should not significantly change the simplicity of the interface.
My request: could you make Simplist networked between devices? Auto-syncing? Maybe even with a web interface?
I’m sure this would not be simple to implement. But if you were able to do it, I think the user experience could remain simple. And Simplist would then probably become my favorite list management app.
(I am aware of your import-export support, I’m talking about syncing behind the scenes.)

Best list app
Tldr: If you're list obsessed like me then buy this app.
I've tried dozens of list apps and simplist is by far the best. It has the option to manually rearrange your list and you can choose if items disappear or not when you check them off. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but most list apps don't have these simple options, or they are difficult to work.

Finally!
I can finally stop searching for a simple, easy to use list app. Simplist is perfect and wonderfully easy to use. I've used several list apps briefly only to end up deleting them as they all ended up disappointing me. Thank you!

I have always use this is my favorite list manager. Now that the iPad support was fixed, there needs to be a way to import lists from the app on your iPhone.

Simple enough for me
I suffer from TBI and this app really is easy but helps me remember plus I can check off items and depending on my settings the item disappears or it stays in the list. Since I have a standard packing list for hiking, backpacking, fishing etc this feature is very nice. When I need to go to the store I don't need to keep items so they disappear and I don't have to scroll through all the other items.

Long time user, haven't looked for an alternative
I've been using this app for at least 5 years, within 6 months of first using it I purchased the paid app.
I like the new update and the ability to quickly change the priority setting then sort.
I only wish that if I check a red priority option, it would move it to the bottom of the red items, not to the very bottom of ALL the items.
I also wish there was an auto sort option which would constantly re-sort items as you change priority.
Other than that, I still rate it 5 stars.

Free Version Works Better!
Since I have been using this app, and liked it, I finally decided to pay for the ad free version. Apparently, that was a mistake. Features that worked well in the free version no longer work in the paid version (like sorting, unchecking all items - essential features!)
In addition, the developer either doesn't check messages very often, or doesn't care about responding to paid customer concerns, as my requests have gone unanswered. I guess, sadly, it's time to write it off and move on to another app...

so, after multiple complaints from reviewers about the developer taking away the visible checkmark feature and putting at bottom, the developer brought it back...probably too little/too late given they upset so many people. I would buy this app again if it would help. I would even donate via PayPal but developer has zero response to any inquiries.
I'm giving it 5-stars because it does what it is supposed to do. Developer needs to update the UI and make it more appealing but if it took four years to make one simple change then I'll take it as is...

Just Enough Features
I just realized I've been using Simplist for five years now! The latest update brings it to full working order with iPhone 6 and iOS 8, so I'm happy again. I love the easy manual sorting, the ease of moving items among lists, and the big free-form notes field for each item. It's very straight forward with easy category creation and management. Due dates and priorities can be easily turned off, a plus for those of us who don't use them. There are just enough font and fomat settings to let me get it just the way I need it. All in all a bargain with a very clean, simple design for those of us with simple needs, just like it was when I first chose it.

Great list mgr
I've owned this since 2009. It has been and still is one of the best list mgrs in the App Store. I use it for trips, hunting, camping, projects, prayer list, shopping, etc. I really like how I can uncheck an entire list, say for camping, and reuse my checklist. I depend on simplist a lot. Now that it has been updated for iOS 8 it's even better.

Great app. Update please!
This is an excellent and straightforward list app. I tried several and this one was the best I found. Not overcomplicated, just easy to use.
There is one bug that nags me -- when entering a new list item, my typing is not visible. The text line is blank. But when I hit save whatever I typed does appear, so it's just a visual thing. Should be fixed.
I do wish the dev would update it for the iPhone 5. More room for my stuff! ;-)
