When I first got the app I noticed a couple of issues such as days being different on the list from the detail pages. I contacted the developer, George Cook, and the app was promptly fixed. It’s perfect now! Thanks!

No duplication
Liking the layout of this - straight forward and informative. All up-coming birthdays are nicely displayed in next-up order. It does its job well and better looking than some of the other apps with bells & whistles.
I get why this uses info from Contacts app (to avoid duplicating the same info) Most of my birthdays were already setup in my contacts app, so Simple Birthdays worked straight away. It’s easy to jump out and add a new birthday in the Contacts app, but it would be nice if I could link to this directly from the Simply Birthdays app. Still, it gets my 5 stars for the great layout and information.

How to add
I love this app but how do I add birthday of those that are not in my contacts? I have a big family and lots of children that I would like to add to the list. For the price I paid I should be able to add to it.

A Contact does not require a phone number or email address. You therefore can add each of your family as a separate Contact and it will display their birthday in Simply Birthdays. They can be easily added from within Simply Birthdays - just add a new Contact with name and birthday as a minimum.
Zero Stars
If the person you want to list in birthdays is not in your contact list you can’t list them. My Grandchildren are not in my contact list and it would be nice to have them al listed.

Please note that a Contact does not require a phone number or email address. You therefore CAN add Grandchildren to Simply Birthdays - by creating a new Contact for each child. This is fast and easy to do within Simply Birthdays
