Doesn’t work

Instructions are convoluted and unclear and it’s extremely difficult to set up. PP Move won’t connect. I get the feeling IT experience is required to do the things needed to make this app useful. App also crashes frequently.

I'm sorry you've had such a rough experience. That’s not how it should feel at all. The Paper Pro Move does have an extra setup step (Developer Mode turned on for access then WLAN needs to be on for wireless connections), which isn't obvious and I know can be a sticking point. If onboarding didn't walk you through that clearly, that's on me to improve. For crashes, I'd genuinely love to know more. Worth Trying!

This app has been an incredible time-saver! It makes updating my reMarkable templates and tables so easy and efficient. I love how intuitive it is to manage and customize my templates, and being able to see everything directly on my tablet is a huge bonus. A well-designed, reliable tool that truly enhances my workflow—highly recommend!

Must Have for reMarkable Users

This application is a must-have for reMarkable users. I’m a computer nerd, so I know how to do many of the things this application does manually. But Kyra’s app removes so much of the fiddling and lets me focus on using my reMarkable Paper Pro to get my work done. $10 a year is money well spent for that peace of mind.

Excellent

I had one small problem with this app. I contacted the developer and she was right on it. Solved the small problem and was very fast about doing so. The app works great does what’s advertised and the writer supports it. Worth every penny.

Too many bugs

I’m glad this app exist but I wish I could use it seamlessly. I have the subscription for the sleep screens but there is a bug that causes the editing process to go haywire. I have to close out of the app several times just to upload a sleep screen to my RPP. It’s annoying and frustrating.

Give us money for what can be done free

There are things within this app, that if you own a desktop computer, can be done entirely free using FOSS utilities and not this micro-transaction ridden ploy.

Avoid this, and use Notable Utility instead.

Thanks for chiming in! If you’d rather DIY it my free blog at SimplyKyra.com has guides under the “reMarkable” topic. It’s mostly Mac/Terminal but Linux works similarly and Windows users can look up command-line equivalents. Personally, I found it tedious to repeat the same steps every time reMarkable updated so I built this to make it simpler. The subscription helps cover ongoing updates like support for the Paper Pro and the OS changes. Totally get that it’s not for everyone but I hope it saves time for those who prefer a streamlined tool!

Easy and powerful

I’ve had each version of the reMarkable tablet, and used it in my nursing practice as well as my home life. And I’ve always wanted to customize things but don’t want to ssh in and do the coding myself. I’m a home hospice RN and with this app I’ve been able to simply and easily customize my reMarkable Paper Pro with startup and sleep screens as well as several custom templates I use every day all day. This app is an easy to use and yet very powerful tool!!!

Just works

This is a wonderfully simple app that just does what it says it does. There are free but more technical methods to accomplish its what it does but the app simply delivers without any trouble at all. Great job.
