A very good app

This used to be the best Khmer "survival" language app that I was able to find and use (five stars). However, after an upgrade to iOS 26.2 everything I have now is a practically blank screen. Deleting and reinstalling the app did not help. I wish the program is still supported somehow. Thank you.

Amazing

This app was very amazing to help me learn Carmine. And it was very very very, very, very, very helpful and helped my speech and it helped me connect with my cousins. I highly recommend this app for anyone who’s trying to learn Khmer. Simple but app logo / artist doesn’t show on Home Screen

Just blank and not aesthetic once downloaded it’s a blank logo and not the elephant art. I’ve redownloaded too.

What a great app!!! The audio is amazing. Very helpful. But the flash cards are blank and I would like to have flash cards to practice, this forced me to write my own. But this is an amazing app!

Quite a good app

This is a very well-thought out app, and the speaker is generally easy to understand. I read in another review that in order to slow down the speaker (they go a little quick for a novice), you must go to settings; however, upon my clicking on settings, the app kicks me off.

Overall, this is a very good app for learning Khmer.

Simply Learn Khmer

The free version is ok while the paid version is better. The quality of the sound and speech are good despite the fact that there are several speakers each with different rates of speech.

Rather than re-record everything to be more uniform, it would be much better if the app had a speed control like some of the better apps. Then it would be worth what they at charging.

Sorry that you are having issues with the speed functionality on the app. The app currently does include a feature where the speech is slower, you can access this by pressing the 'snail icon' on the right hand side of the text, but unfortunately at this stage it does not include an option to vary the speed. I like the app it’s really good

Good enough

Not the , THE, best. But then again, it is free. And love no internet required.

Speaks a bit fast. No slow down speaking mode. No way to keep track of test results. But it does have both writings.

Perfect starter program, all in all.

Dear valued user, Thank you very much for your feedback. Regarding the speed mode, there're 2 ways to make the sound slower: 1. In the sentence that you want to set the speed after you click to show the translation, you can click on the "snail" icon to play the sound with a slower speed. 2. In app Setting (Please click on the menu icon on the top left corner of the Home screen -> Settings), you can set the sound speed with different levels for all content in the app with the "Sound Speed" setting bar. Best app so far for Khmer learning.

Right away I love the app but so far I noticed like the rest of the reviews that there is no option for playback speed. It is to fast for people who want to hear it slowly to really get the pronunciations

Too fast to learn for me

Nice app, but the main problem in Khmer is that people speak way too fast for me to learn and understand the pronunciation. How ironic that I can even ear a split between words on the sentence “could you speak slower please”!

Great way to learn Khmer.

I’ve been looking for a app that will teaching Khmer and by far this is one of the better ones. The women’s voice is clear and easy to understand.

I would suggest to have more medical information. I’m a nurse and would like to learn more medical terminology for my practice. Thank you!

So I’m going around downloading other language apps just to get a laugh but OMG. I can’t. If your not Cambodian you will think it is good but LOL I had a good laugh. Awful on most. “Canada” is just Canada. “Brazil” is just Brazil. Geez. Teach people correctly.

Excellent app but...

This is a great app. It features high quality audio, excellent pronunciation and features a ton of words. I was especially excited about the study feature that utilizes long term memorization theory. Unfortunately that side of the app is so buggy.

When going to study phrases, both the answer box and question box are blank. Sound plays normally but I cant see the question or hearthe answer. Otherwise this was an extremely powerful app.
