As a Nepali, it is great but I’m looking forward into sentences, not just phrases. So I would give it 4 stars

Good app.

This app, as a Nepali, I was eager to check this app out. Although these sentences are correct, this is professional Nepali, not the type I speak. (Casual Nepali.) Although you are able to understand it,
this is not the type of Nepali that people usually speak.
Great app, but it’s for teen-adult learners.

Bonne application

C’est la seule application que j’ai trouvée pour apprendre le Nepali. Il donne des notions basiques gratuitement ce qui peut être un avantage si on voyage dans le pays.
La prononciation est claire et les phrases à apprendre sont pertinentes.

Seriously broken in two huge ways

/1/ The in-app setting for “Male version” does not work.

/2/ Neither does the in-app “Contact Us” link for tech-support. That link opens a pre-addressed e-mail — which goes to an invalid address that will bounce right back at you.

Not for anyone seriously trying to learn a language. Limited vocabulary

Helpful

This app helped me learn basic Nepali before my trip. I tested my language on someone I new to be Nepalese and they said I had perfect pronunciation.

So far, I’m having a great time with this app! After a few months, I decided to purchase the premium version. I’m really excited to try it out, and love that it’s a one time purchase (not a monthly subscription). My only qualm would be there is no way to slow down the audio to really be able to practice pronunciations. Overall, I’m pleased with the app and would recommend it to anyone learning to speak Nepali.

Great for key words

This app is very basic. It teaches introductory words and phrases. However, if you are trying to actually learn the language and not just key phrases, you will find this to be less than useful pretty quickly.
