Non stop pop up trying to get you to subscribe.

If I could give this negative stats I would it was one of the best apps I used until they updated it and now whenever I am in a music sheet for more that 5 seconds even just trying to play it will pop up with an ad trying to get me to subscribe to them and pay 10 dollars a month I can’t even play one measure. Do NOT get!!!

Simply play

Very nice if you want to learn new songs.

Great selections but the autoscroll is terrible.

I downloaded this as I outgrew what I learned on the original app. Whilst I like this app, and the range it has, I deducted two stars because the auto scroll is terrible. Not sure why it’s time based versus a regular smooth scroll but it’s impossible to play the music I like whilst using this on my phone. The Simply Piano app has a super smooth autoscroll and I assumed this would be similar to that. Would love a choice between this kind of scroll and the smoother flowing scroll.
Really disappointed :(

Do not download!

Its not worth it you have to pay for everything

Good. Just 1 thing

You can’t play without a subscription. I like it, but when downloading keep your wallet ready.

Review…not enough song choices on this free app

Not enough song choices on this free app

What!???

I can’t even do the songs that I want ?

Pay to play

Seems amazing but unless you are ready to give money to this stupid corporation you are out of luck. EVERYTHING I try costs money and it should not be pay to get talent. It should be free to gain talent. Some people aren’t gonna throw subscription money around. That is why they get 2 stars.

Disappointing

I have had this app for months. All of a sudden I go to play and now I have to pay for the app. Very disappointing. It’s fun having music at your fingertips but it seems like a bait and switch. I’m deleting it.

Love the sheet music!

I purchased the premium version of this app as I LOVE simple piano and have used it for a few years now so finding myself now only in the “play” section. I was very disappointed to discover that this app doesn’t include Bluetooth connectivity for note recognition and much like its counterpart is far to “laggy” without it so I will be deleting the app and keeps no my eye out for this addition in the future. It’s an essential function for me unfortunately - had of this not been an issue - the app itself 5 stars

Zero

I thought this app would be full of awesome sheet music for me to learn on my piano, especially since the advertisements I saw were of advanced and professional music scores. I was definitely disappointed majorly. I had to pay a ridiculous fee just to view the very first piece of music I clicked on, and every score is for beginners and no one else. “Unlimited and professional quality sheet music”???? You mean a limited number of songs instead of an abundance of music. This app is absolute garbage.

Wonderful

I really have enjoyed all of Simply’s apps. I use Play, Piano, and Guitar.

The one thing that annoys me is the difference between songs on Simply Play when using multiple devices. For example, I will find I song I want to learn on Simply Play while practicing on my iPad. I pick the “basic” version. I will then use a different iPad and be logged into the same account and the song is not the same, even though it’s the “basic” version.

If I’m on Simply piano and I go to Simply Play through that app, the “basic version of the song is different as well. So I end up with three different versions of the same song while trying to learn “basic”. It can be frustrating that I need to remember to stick with the same device while learning.

Bad

Everything has to get paid for and no free things whatsoever.

I love this app

WHY DID YOU STOP REALISING WEEKLY MUSIC!

terrible

the app is comply useless without a subscription. if you try to look at a song then after 3 seconds the app is tryna get to you play a monthly fee

Learning the keyboard

I absolutely love this app. It’s like having a teacher right next to you. If you wanna learn how to play the piano get this app you will love it.

Ok?

Can’t even play songs unless I subscribe it’s crazy

I’m encouraged

I’ve had this app for about 2 weeks. I am 75 years old. I had piano lessons as a child. After listening to several easy and more advanced piano selections, I will attempt to play pieces at beginning, and intermediate levels to ensure fluency. I find that I can read the notes w
It’s only 1-2 notes that I will have to memorize again. I would happily recommend this app to anyone. It would help if the student has had piano lessons in the past, and if they can read notes. I’m glad that I bought this app.

Works ok on a phone but not on tablet. In addition it is not free for iPad

In first tried it on IPhone and it was nice, but not enough space to see more than 1 line of notes. When I switched to IPad it appears to be that I need to pay for premium, which is completely inconsistent with IPhone. In addition to that on IPad notes are huge and you cannot zoom out so you still see normal only 1-2 lines.
Disappointed with inconsistency and behavior between platforms, but it has some potential.

Was good at first

I got this for my daughters as they loved learning new songs. It worked for a few months pretty good; but now if you do not pay, you cannot see the music. Completely worthless.
