Classic and perfect
I have been playing this for years. When I tried to review it it cut me off after a few stars. I hope it did not post a low review but if I am paranoid i I would say it is trying to drive you to newer iterations that are more lucrative. Almost Perfect!
As others have said, game apps come and go, but this one is still my go-to when I have idle time but want to stimulate my brain too!!
I love the clean simplicity of the app. No bells and whistles - just the great game. Open app - and play! Easy!
Only reason for not getting 5 Stars, is because if I’m listening to my iTunes music (on earbuds) when I open Simply Solitaire, the game app kills my iTunes, even if I mute the Solitaire sound in the app!!
Very annoying when on a 3 hour flight and I just wanna listen to some good music WHILE playing Solitaire!!! Please fix that, and I’ll revise to 5 stars!!

Simple to play
I was playing with another solitaire game before trying this one.
The previous you would win about 1 time per 100 games. It wouldn’t allow the cards to come up in any order to win. Was very frustrating. This game allows you to win a lot more often. You still have to know the rules to win.

No ADS!
Simple. No ads. Every other solitaire game has crappy ads. Many will interrupt the game just to sell you crap, or offer you upgrades… not this game. Play until your eyes are blurry, no ads, no bothersome interruptions. Just a solid game. Bravo!!
Good game
This game is good for non-beginners because there are NO hints and that’s why I chose it. But if there was a HINT button that could be turned on or off then that would be great for all levels of player, including children. That would also address the issue of not being informed that there are no other moves to end the game.

Crashes after Apple update
Cannot play this after updating my IPad. Game goes wonky and loses the ability to move cards..

Older version better
Liked the older version better. You could replay a game several times without being penalized.

On my new iPad, game is choppy and images are crude compared to my older iPad. Don’t like it.
Problems with this game
The stats here are very wrong!!
I like to keep track of my wins and losses. Fine! But this game counts it a loss whenever you reject a deal and ask for another hand!! (i.e., without turning over a single card)
Perhaps that makes some sense if you want to play all hands you are dealt but, as I do not, I will be finding another version of on-line solitaire that lets me track my stats better.

Cards look drawn by hand; slow click rate
On my old iPad, this was slick and reliable. On new one, the cards look hand drawn and operation is much slower. Lost its slick feel.
