Simply Circle the app
Simply Circle the program is a phenomenal way to help organize & communicate for school groups. It is difficult to find data management services that can organize both a non-profit and education. That written - the app is a good tool that just doesn’t always function as well as a web browser. Which is frustrating to users.

Decent service but needs mobile fixes
Top request: on iPhone when comments are long the app truncates them ending in ‘...’ but you can’t tap or hold to view the rest.
Great app that connects me to my kids school
As a parent, I like to be kept in the loop about what’s going on at the school. I’m glad the school is using SimplyCircle (third year in a row), because everything I need is in one place. The calendar, volunteer signups, photos and field trips announcements are all there. I like that I get notified when there is a new post or announcement. At home I log into the web version, but when I’m out and about I use the mobile app. Good app - and it’s free.

Really want to like this!
But it's buggy...
When I edit an event it doesn't replace, but duplicates
Then I need to go one-by-one and delete all of the "old" events
Also, the keyboard in the add address field on mobile iPhone doesn't allow commas, so all group members need to be added one-by-one and saved out individually
I do love the daily email digest!
I hope videos are coming soon as well as a place to view important documents and photos

Not working
I had read a review on a mom tech blog that circle was a good way to manage group info. I've downloaded the app and can't add my basic group info. The app times out and gives me an error when I try to add a circle name. Too bad, thought the combination of features was a good one.
Really promising!
I'm just starting to check it out and it's exactly what I've been looking to use for our youth group! Some issues though: the photos are not showing up on the Photos area and there's no way to edit or delete older posts that I can find. Also, the calendar would be a million times better if the calendar could sync with google calendars! :)

Crashes
I can not do anything from the app. I attempted to add a meeting to the calendar and it forced closed. I like the idea but it needs to work.

It would be great if you could see who rsvpd on the app.
Doesn't work
I go to add an calendar event and click done then the whole app shuts down. Haven't been able to use it for anything. Waste of time.

Ok App - Needs Mobile Device Notifications
There are no mobile device notifications & only email notifications when updates are posted to a message, so it's hard to notice when an update is made. Otherwise, this app would be convenient.
Great app for school communication
I've been using SimplyCircle on the web for a year to get updates from my kids' teachers. Happy to see that they now have an app. I especially like the in-app instant messaging with the teacher and fellow parents - it's free and I don't need to look up anybody's email or phone number. Nicely done!

Waaaay better than email. It's a great way for small groups to stay in touch in a private setting.
Amazing for room parents
I have been a room parent at my school for years. It had always been painful to coordinate with the other parents, managing email lists and not being able to keep a calendar of things for them to help with.
Ever since I found this app, it has been making my life as a room parent far easier. I can get more and faster assistance from other parents on fundraising and class events where we need their help. Awesome!

Helps a ton!
Simplycircle really helps me get on track with all the things I have going on. As an avid volunteer, it can be hard staying organized and on top of things but with this app I now have a single place where I can see it all. This has really helped me out and I couldn't be happier!
Great tool for parents
It was super easy and within a few minutes I synced my contacts and invited a bunch of other parents. Just a few minutes was all it took to get a bunch of people in my group. It's a helpful tool and I look forward to seeing what else they come up with.

Organization+broadcasting=perfect group mgmt app
simplycircle is a great tool for organizing my kids volleyball team. It has a great calendar that has volunteer signup sheets integrated. The best part is the ability to broadcast messages to the entire team which is critical when we go to tournaments and the playing times are not set in stone.
