Perfectly fine
These Swedish designed fans are fabulous ( we have two), are ultra-quiet and work extremely well on their default settings out of the box - ie they only need this app if you want to alter something.
In the UK these are marketed as ‘Svara’, by a company called ‘Vent-Axia’.
- there is heaps of good information about them, and how to use their app, which is basically the same as this.
(You can’t use their app, nor the Swedish ‘Pax-Wireless’ app with the NZ Manrose Genius branded fans because they won’t accept the PIN codes).
However, the Simx app is basically the same; we’ve had no problem connecting with Bluetooth to the fans from an iPhone XR.
The app also allows you to reset the fans to factory default, and after exploring the various options, this is actually what we did.
So although the app works perfectly well, you don’t really need it at all!

Waste of time
App doesn’t work on some iPhones and when it does it doesn’t work consistently. Endless connection issues and the fan not doing what it should. Whole thing needs to be sorted out as the features the fan has don’t work without the app.
