Add a date. Since counts the days. DAYS SINCE The day you quit. The day you met. The day you said yes. Put the date in and the number climbs on its own, every day, for as long as it takes. When it happens again, one tap sets the counter back to today — with an undo, in case you did not mean it. The run you just ended is kept, so you can always see that you made it 47 days last time. DAYS UNTIL The big trip. The due date. The last day of term. The same counter runs the other way for anything still ahead of you. When the day finally arrives, it flips by itself and starts counting up from it — so you never have to make the same date twice. REMINDERS Water the plants. Change the filter. Call your grandmother. Some things come round again and again, so give a counter an interval — every 3 days, every 90 — and it counts up from the last time you did it and tells you when it is due. One reminder per counter, off until you turn it on. No daily digest, nothing to check in to. ILLUSTRATIONS Pick the drawing that suits each counter and watch it grow with the number: a bonsai that fills out, a rose bush that comes into flower, a cairn that gains a stone at a time, a kite that climbs, a candle that burns down while something waits to be done. Seeing how far yours has come is a reason to keep it going — and every drawing is made for your counter rather than picked off a shelf, so no two are quite alike. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN OR LOCK SCREEN One big number where you already look — on the Lock Screen under the clock, or on the Home Screen in three sizes. The widget follows whichever counter is at the top of your list, so choosing what it shows means dragging one counter above another. No opening the app to find out. WHAT IT WILL NOT DO It will not ask you to journal, rate your mood, or write anything down. There are no leaderboards, no friends to beat, no daily digest and no confetti. It counts the days and stays out of the way. YOUR COUNTERS STAY ON YOUR PHONE Names and dates are stored on the device and never uploaded. There is no account to make, nothing to sign in to, and nobody else to see what you are counting.
