Sadly disappointing

As soon as I downloaded this app, I was informed that I need to have a microphone or some other external device with my phone in order for this app to even work. They could probably save people a ton of time and clarify that right at the beginning of the description of this app, so people don’t waste their time downloading and setting up a profile. Also, I still even tried to set up the app to see what kind of music they have available and after searching for numerous older hits from the 80s and 90s and finding none of them were available I’m just deleting this app and I’m gonna go find something that actually is usable. I suggest you do the same and don’t even bother with this while they work out the bugs.

Response from developer

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with the app! We've made some updates for faster processing, and there are more free songs to sing now...over 40 titles. There's a lot of variety ranging from Piano Man and Take Me Home, Country Roads to Pop Hits from 90s & 00s. We have some newer songs up there too: Lainey Wilson, The Weeknd, Tate McRae, Olivia Dean, Sombr and more. You also get 210 SingCoins automatically upon sign-up, so you could use that credit for a song not in the free catalog. For an accurate sing score, we do require headphone/earbuds. I hope you'll give it another try, and if you're interested in helping beta test new features, please send us an email at info@thesingingleague.com. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback!
