Now the only option to save the file is to drag-n-drop from Safari drop-down download list to folder that is opened in Files App
Evidently good
This does a perfect job of saving sites as a small HTML file. Great for saving evidence of important transactions, saving pages that might change or disappear soon… I love it.
App Great for PCs
This app extension works great on Firefox in windows PCs. I like how it will save it as one compressed file and I can also use it to send to other people that don’t have Firefox, but they have an Internet, explorer. When I use this app on my iPhone, it saves the webpages in the extension, location, downloads, and after a few weeks all of the web pages that I saved disappear. Is there anyway that they say pages could be moved to another location to the main Downloads folder on the homepage of the iPhone?

Downloads dont show up in files app on iPhone after updating to iOS 18.5
It used to automatically go there. Now it “downloads” but goes nowhere. It’s in the download list on Safari but the file is nowhere else.
I actually thinks it’s an iOS bug. But there may be something you need to do.

Misses a lot of pictures
It's excellent but misses a lot of pictures, especially on newspaper websites. E.g. The Telegraph.
I expect the issue will be resolved soon with an update, but for now I iOS's built-in method to save Safari pages as PDFs is proving better for me.

Great extension
I needed to save down a series of webpages that included formatting and images. This extension was perfect. Super easy and fast, and the results were a single HTML file that could be opened easily in any browser. I was able to easily customize what I wanted the name of each file to be, and I just loaded the webpage, clicked the extension button, and the single file would download to my Downloads folder. Thank you so much for making this!

Causes Safari to Freeze
May 30, 2025: SingleFile Extension repeatedly causes freezes. I use SingleFile daily and find that it causes problems while using Safari, my main browser. Using SingleFile with FireFox causes no such problems. With FireFox, SingleFile works smoothly. I use single file in both FireFox and Safari. The Safari version functions slowly when I click “Deny” and has caused Safari to freeze and twice has cause my M1 MacBook Air (16 gb memory and 1 tb stbrage) to freeze entirely. I hope you will fix this problem. Thank you.

Not Working
Upon installation, it requires to turn SingleFile on in settings. But how?! There is not even any explanations about houw it can be set up and used.

Works with Hide Distracting Items!
I discovered today that if you go through the page and use ios 18 Safari's "hide distracting items" feature to get rid of all the ad blocks, autoplaying videos, etc, SingleFile will produce an html file that is also bereft of those items! Great for permanent archiving of news articles.
