Help
How do I get the bombs to come out of the back of the ship instead of the front?? What are the controls for this thing when all I have it a touch screen? On the computer there were buttons to push. Guess I’m old

Used to play this for hours on my old iPod touch! So pleased to see this still on the App Store and optimised for new iPhones! Would 100% recommend! Very simple by highly addictive!

This game is fun but freezes constantly. You have to delete it and reinstall and it stops again. Fix it

Well I've got to say an old classic game done extremely well, well done..Great sound effects, great game play and challanging. Awesome, got to give it a try, and join the battle againsts the subs.
One Minor Issue
I really like this app and have played it for years with one minor issue. In the heat of the game you sometimes tap on the pause button in the right hand corner. It you dont hit it the right way you sometime restart the whole game and lose all your points. I hate this. Please move this button to the bottom someplace as we never put our fingers down there.

Easy to pick up, challenging to master
This game has a nice learning curve: you can enjoy it when you first start playing it, and it also rewards skill as you get better. Nice implementation of the iPhone's control capabilities (tilt, swipe, etc.).

Erinnert mich extrem an ein Spiel auf dem Amiga 500. Schön gemacht. Leider ist man schnell durch. Ich habe die 50 level in 20 min durch gehabt.

So Far So Good
I've been playing this game for about an hour or so and I like what I've seen so far. The tilt control is very good, IMHO one of the best use of it so far. You can hold the iPhone/Touch at any angle and moove the boat around. Tapping to fire us fairly easy. The game gets harder as you go along the levels and there is a save feature which is nice. All and all worth the $.99. But I'm not sure I'd pay more than $1.99 for this App.

GREAT GAME GREAT GAME NO ARGUMENTS.
You get 50 levels and I can only get to 23 on two levels and cannot crack that, and it is a quite hard even you might think it is easy from the start, I will persevere to get to level 50 then I will make another review. I wish the accelerator was a little faster and I had more missiles to bomb those subs, If you have read this developer can you give us more missiles, as the player is disadvantaged especially when there so many subs firing missiles.

Possibly my favourite game on PC or iPhone
I mistakenly bought "depth charge" a few days ago, thinking it was this game which I remember with fond memories from PC. Sink Sub is, infinately better than "Depth Charge"
Sinksub has dozens and dozens of levels, each introducing or combining variations from each progressive level eg: level 10 might feature the floating mines from level 7, and the robot jellyfish from level 9. Also, your boat itself gets extra controls like throwing depth charges far away from the bow and stern for "spreads" of depth charges etc.
True to the fantastic PC game with only one slight difference. Moving the ship on the pc version was done with keyboard keys, wheras the iPhone version uses the tilt functionailty to "slide" the ship, which is considerably more difficult to utilise when positioning yourself just millimetres away from bobbing mines. It's not impossible but it's an additional "threat" in this version.
Overall, a fantastic game worth several times it's App Store price. (buy it now, before the developers make the price more realistic :-) )
