About

SIT Viewer is an app for operators of SIT equipment. See what a camera or recorder sees, hear its sound, find the device on a map, pull recordings off it and change its settings — from your phone, without walking over to a computer. CONNECTING Add a device by scanning the QR code from the desktop app, or by hand, using the details your administrator gives you. Saved devices stay in the list and connect with a single tap. VIDEO AND SOUND A live picture — full screen with rotation, or in a small window that stays in front of you while you look at the map or the files. Cameras that send only sound show a level meter instead of a black screen. For multi-channel audio devices — a choice of channel group and a level meter for each. GPS Where the device is now, directions to it, and coordinates you can pass on. FILES The recordings held on the device: view them, download them to the phone, open them in Files and share them onward. SETTINGS The device's full set of parameters and its schedule — the same as in the desktop app. DEMO If you do not have a device yet, the app has a demo mode with a sample picture, sound, track and settings. The app works with SIT equipment and your server — without them it will only show the demo. iPhone and iPad.

Settings changed elsewhere now reach the phone on their own. If a device's configuration is changed from the desktop app or on the device itself, the form reloads within a few seconds and tells you so — it used to keep showing the old values, an empty schedule for instance, until you reconnected. Unsaved changes on the phone are reset in that case, and the message says so. The cancel button on a file transfer stays on screen at larger text sizes.
