SiteCalc - Construction Calc

SiteCalc is the feet-and-inches calculator that stops being rented. Add 14' 3-5/8" to 9' 11-3/4", divide the result by 16" on centre, convert it to millimetres, and keep every step on a tape you can scroll back through, label and correct. That is arithmetic a builder does all day, and an ordinary calculator cannot do it at all. WHAT IT SOLVES • Roof and right angle - rise, run, diagonal, pitch in rise-per-foot and in degrees, common rafter, hip and valley • Stair layout - riser count, exact riser height, tread depth, total run, stringer length • Area and volume - rooms, walls with openings, slabs, footings, columns, circles and arcs • Materials - concrete in yards, metres and bags, studs at your spacing, drywall sheets, tile with waste, paint from a coverage rate you enter, decking, roofing squares A TAPE, NOT A SINGLE NUMBER Every entry stays on screen with its operator and the running result beside it. Label a line "back wall", fix a typo three lines up, and everything below it recomputes in front of you. This is the part a handheld with one display line has never done. EXACT, AND HONEST ABOUT IT Feet, inches and fractions down to 1/64 are held exactly, never as a rounded decimal, and every result carries a line restating the measurements it came from. A stair of 111" over 15 risers is 7.400" per riser, and SiteCalc says so - then tells you that 7-3/8" risers would leave you 3/8" short at the top. A wrong length gets cut into a real board, so nothing here is rounded quietly. YOUR LIMITS, NOT OURS The stair solver asks you for your own maximum riser and minimum tread. SiteCalc ships none of its own, and no tables of any kind, because rules differ from place to place and change over time, and a stale number inside an offline app is worse than no number at all. NO MONEY, ANYWHERE There is no currency field in SiteCalc and no totals in money. It measures and it counts; what those quantities are worth is your business, not the app's. EXPORT IS FREE. ALWAYS. Save your work as a named job, then export it as a printable PDF or a CSV, any time, behind no purchase. With no cloud in this version, that is also how you keep a copy. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL Jobs, tapes and material lists are stored only on this iPhone. No account, no sign-in, no cloud and no server - so it works in a basement, on a roof, and in a van with no bars. A banner sits on the jobs and settings screens, and a single full-screen ad can appear after an export file has already been saved. No ad ever appears on the calculator, on the tape, on the roof or stair solver, or while a result is on screen. One optional purchase removes all advertising forever and unlocks nothing, because nothing is locked.
